Researching various true crime cases and remembering those taken too soon. This blog is purely informational & nothing on here is condoned by me

On October 31st 1994, 7-year-old Tony Bagley was out Trick or Treating with his family dressed up in his favourite skeleton costume. Excited at the prospect of candy, he ran ahead and stopped at the end of the street. Just then, a car pulled up alongside the little boy and opened fire. He was shot in the head and died later on in hospital. His killer was never found.

Mary Scott with her baby, Christine.

In November 1969, Mary Scott arrived home to her San Diego apartment after her shift as a cocktail waitress. The next day, her best friend checked on her after she learned that Mary didn’t show up to work. When her friend entered the apartment, she found that her friend had assaulted and strangled to death. With little evidence to go on, the case remained unsolved for the next five decades.

Vintage 4 December 1959 News Service photo of Candy Barr being led to prison to begin serving her 15 year sentence for narcotics possession (marijuana). She served three years of the sentence and later then TX governor John Connally would pardon her (in 1967).
