Vinland Saga modern AU Spotify wrapped

Thorfinn gets some of his music from Bjorn and some from the gang kids he hangs out with. He barely ever goes to school, but when he does, he hangs out with the punk-emo kids and picked up a little from there, too.

Bjorn got some of his music from his friends, but most of it is his own. Growing up in Korea, (his mom is Korean), he wasn’t allowed rap music or anything considered "satanic." So, as soon as he was on his own, he joined a band and learned some basics of buitar and bass.

Askeladd gets some of his from his mom. He doesn't listen to music much, but when he does, he likes to enjoy it. He'll dim the lights with a cup of tea and play it on the speakers. He gets annoyed if someone interrupts him when he's doing this. Bjorn knows not to enter. Thorfinn comes in on pourpose to "Look for something." Just to piss him off.

Canute takes his tastes from Ragnar, coupled with the same "No satanic hiphop" rule from his father. He doesn't listen to much music either. Usually just in the mornings while he's getting dressed, or when he's feeling burnt out from studying and needs a break. He likes to sing or hum along but would melt into a puddle if anyone ever caught him.

Shaking, quaking, throwing up, I just love their art style and their ideas are so funny and and and AHIHG like I love it so so so so much. Fir is such a big inspiration for me I love their work so much literally, throw me off a cliff? Decapitate me? I don't care. That one 14 frame thorfinn animation? The cute chibis? The way they draw bjorn? Keeps me alive. I love LOVE it.

I'm still working on how my modern AU plot would go but I have a pretty good idea. As soon as I have it figured out I'll make a post with some illustrations

I've never been very into modern AU's, but I'm trying it out for Vinland Saga and I think I really like it!
