summary: suguru might want you just a little too much word count: 2k(ish) contents: suguru x gn!reader, pre-relationship, no curses au, both are in their early-ish 20's, pining, yearning, flirting, there's one (1) kiss scene, pet names (included but not limited to: gorgeous, baby, angel, i think i threw in sweetheart a couple times), drinking (there's a scener where they do shots), smoking (shoko only), satoru and shoko, mentions of shoko flirting with women, being drunk, some food, this is essentially a song fic, suguru is pathetic for reader, if you want things to make sense this is literally not the place, sugu with his hair tied, soft soft soft, too many commas, maybe kinda cringe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (english is not my first language but my perfectionist ass tried my hardest okay😭) author's notes: thank you @storiesoflilies for the delicious brain worm that led to this and for listening to my ideas about it. and to @ohimsummer for beta-reading this (everyone "say thank you summer!!" because without summer this would be kinda stiff and awkward). i love the both of you 🥹💛 this is a part of a series (hopefully the motivation to write doesn't leave me) so keep your eyes peeled for the rest. also reblogs are highly appreciated👉👈

you hear a voice behind you as you finish ordering your drink at the bar of the club, a refuge from the bright colourful lights of the dance floor, turning your head slightly to look at the newly familiar face as he stands behind you.

“suguru,” you chastise softly, the corners of your lips twitching up at the feel his hands coming to rest at your waist. “i can pay for my own drinks, you know?”

i hate to admit it but i am somewhat envious of people that are in actual relationships

LOOK, he is the first person that comes to mind when you think of older!bf x uni!reader AND FOR GOOD REASON, he left quite the impression on the youth.
