Welcome Home (outside POV) - all the Gallaghers' reactions for Mickey coming home from prison in season 10

I see you as you see yourself (outside POV) - Fiona's boyfriend Sean's point of view on Gallavich in season 6 as if they never broke up

study group (outside POV) - Liam's view on gallavich and Mickey when his friends come over, plus their reactions to them

old love (outside POV) - Trevor runs into Ian and Mickey in a coffee shop

mostly fluff, light angst:

invited intruders (WIP) - mickey and mandy get adopted by foster parents in season 3 which changes things drastically

miscellaneous:

I'll fight everyone but you (AU) - Ian and mickey are in opposing gangs and have to work out how to be together

white knights and friends - just a season 3 ep 5 canon divergence of mickey protecting mandy (my absolute least favourite of all, I wrote it in like an hour and never checked it over)

cardinal sin is a vivid red - depiction of mickey's feelings when Ian leaves for the army (I tried to use a different writing style)

heard you could save me (AU) (WIP) (not updated often, but will be eventually)- superpower AU where Ian and mickey are enemies who slowly become something more

they both love eachother a lot but i feel like if ian were to ever leave mickey he would combust or smt but if mickey left ian he would eventually be alr

i agree but i think that’s more to do with the fact that ian has more family than mickey who he is loved by. ian would maybe not suffer as badly because he has more people around him loving him and showing him he’s still worth something, while the only person we ever really see love mickey is ian, so he would fare worse.

yes! i agree. i think it can often look like mickey loves ian more because ian is literally the only person mickey loves (aside from mandy, but she isn’t there at the end) while ian loves his family too. but love isn’t some easily defined, finite and quantitative thing like that.

I cannot let go of the headcanon that Mickey has a lot of sleep issues like nightmares & insomnia etc. after season 11

#can imagine him getting a bit of OCD to go along with PTSD#sorry i’m backpacking on this#because he’s scared of so many things#people from prison that he pissed off finding him#people from the cartel finding him#even irrational things like his dad finding him#so he feels like he has to check that the door is locked#and he constantly checks it#and he checks the windows#and checks that he has his gun#so basically this is why i think he has OCD to go along with it#because OCD is essentially compulsive and obsessive checking behaviours#like this#so he doesn’t sleep#he wakes up from flashbacks#then has to wander around securing the house again#and because he’s tired he forgets that he’s already checked the lock five times#so he checks it again#therefore no sleep

Mickey never saying anything to Ian about the cheating because he feels like he deserves it. He was put through hell and I bet he felt like he deserved all of it.

I like bridezilla Mickey on a whole different level than everyone else, because he knows that he deserves better, he finally understands that and it’s fucking great, same goes for him not accepting Ian’s weird attempts to "propose" but not really, FUCK YEAH Mickey.

that’s what i’m saying i’m glad he got mad at ian in season 10 for backing out of the marriage because mickey SHOULD set boundaries and SHOULD set limits on what ian can say and do to him and he also SHOULD know his worth and what he deserves

they really really did mickey’s outfits dirty in the later seasons. i’m all for him experimenting with fashion but can he please experiment with a chain and dark clothes instead of ripped jeans and a denim jacket. he knew what he liked in earlier seasons so i don’t know why they changed it. i miss his weird shirts with elephants and random shit on

I wish the costume department had put Mickey in more dark blue or burgundy clothes.

His little blue beanie + burgundy waffle knit sweater in 7x10? PEAK colouring for him. Skin dewy fresh. Eyes glowing. Lips and cheeks rosy.

Not that he needs help looking sexy, but yk. Let my man flaunt his good looks, you cowards.

it’s so weird to me how much i love the idea of ian and mickey getting married, being happy and in love, being all domestic and shit, while i, personally, never ever ever ever want to get married or have children or be in a long term romantic relationship. i am pretty averse to romantic relationships but i love them in fiction. idk
