hi!
if you could share/donate, it would be greatly appreciated!
hello! these are some campaigns that reached out to me over the past month or so. i don't personally have the means to vet or verify, so i am also including links to the PCRF, Operation Olive Branch, and HEAL Palestine at the bottom of the post. if you can donate any amount to a campaign or a charity, I would appreciate it.
I am Israa Alwan, a young woman who once had big dreams and was ready to achieve them. After years of hard work and study, I finally received my degree in Early Childhood Education. It was an indescribable joy, knowing I was about to start my journey as a teacher, to help shape young minds and walk alongside them in their first steps toward knowledge.
But my dream didnβt last. The war came and turned my life upside down. My home, which was once a safe haven, is now rubble, and I am left with only a few belongings and a shattered bag of dreams. Now, I am without a home, a job, or any sense of security. I move from place to place with my family, searching for a shelter to protect our children and the sick from the cold winter and the scorching summer.
My brother Shadi, who has always been my strength and support, now bears the heavy responsibility of caring for our entire family, doing everything he can to protect us and provide us with the bare essentials, despite the harsh conditionsπππ
I was reached out to by Ahed to make a post for his family. This fundraiser is vetted by Gazavetters, #229 on their spreadsheet
Ahed is a 33 year old father of three young girls with his wife Maisoon. Getting Ahed the funds to evacuate his family is very urgent because they have three children under the age of ten with them, who currently donβt have access to food, clean water, or medical treatment they need. Theyβre at risk of bombs, infectious illnesses, and starvation every day they remain in Gaza. every hour matters
Ahedβs daughters are the light of his life and his motivation to keep going, and heβs campaigning on here every day to keep them safe. In Ahedβs words, his daughter Fatima (9) is βthe closest to my heart, and my little one.β, Iman (6) βThe friendly, kind, and loving child who is loved by everyoneβ, and little Nour, only one year old: βWho did not live her life like other children, as she was born two months before the warβ.
Imagine that youβve just had a baby girl, and you look at her with so much love and imagine with excitement what a bright future sheβll have and how sheβll play with her siblings. And only two months later, your whole life is turned upside down, and you have to wonder every day how youβll feed her and keep her safe.
This is what happened to Ahed and his wife when they shouldβve been at their happiest with a newborn daughter, everything turned into a nightmare. Their apartment was destroyed in a bombing, they were displaced multiple times, and suddenly they were raising their beautiful daughters in a war zone.
Every hour in Gaza is dangerous. Please help get Ahed, Maisoon and their children to safety as soon as possible ππΌ Every donation will bring them closer to a future where Fatima, Iman, and Nour can play together and go to school and rest and recover from what theyβve been through.
Please give Ahed and Maisoon peace where they donβt have to watch their children suffer from illness and malnutrition, the worst thing for a parent to experience.
Please let Nour experience what peace feels like.
Thank you for reading their story, if youβre not able to donate, please share so it can reach people who are able to.
The arrow sign indicates the covers that we use to close the windows. When there are no windows, we use them to close these openings to protect our children from the bitter cold at night. This is what we can do to protect our children from the cold weather at night, despite the ineffectiveness of these covers, but this is what we have..
Hello, I'm Ola, a graduate student from the faculty of science - Al-Azhar University in G@za P@lestine. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. As you reading my message, myself and my family, βmy mother, father, three sisters, and my little brother,β are trying to survive under all kinds of suffering including but not limited to fear, instability, and starvation, thirst, and poverty in northern G@za.
For more than one year until now, we have been struggling to get proper food after prices increased by 20 to 30 times, struggling to have clean water for use and drinking. We lacked security and stability as we were forced to evacuate our house and left everything behind.
I know for sure that you can't help all families that want your help but at least you can help those who come across your life.
I sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. And yes, even the smallest amount can help because it's all about a collection of these small amounts until we reach our final goal and be able to rebuild our lives.
Thank you very much for your help in advance β₯οΈ

this is my friend safaa + her wonderful familyπ€
top two photos: taken from safaa's profile @safaabed8 bottom photo: taken from safaa's husband's (abed) profile: @abedalazeiz (please follow them both for the latest updates involving their family!)
safaa first introduced herself to me here on tumblr through a dm asking for help. when we met, she was incredibly new to the platform- so along w/ sharing her story with all of you- i tried my best to connect her with other palestinian-based accounts so she could gain more visibility. thanks to everyone who has kindly supported her since, her fundraiser has been able to steadily grow day by day!
every message i get from her/her family fills me with a mixture of relief and immense worry. obtaining a strong enough signal to even be able to communicate is already hard enough (most need to travel far distances to charge phones, text, etc) + every news story i read online from journalists/other families i keep up with only grow more dire with each passing day.
there is no way any of us can truly comprehend the level of suffering they all experience on a daily basis-- what is known to us (or should be) is that no one should ever have to live through these inhumane conditions.
the photos i've provided above show safaa's life from before. her pride- her joy- precious memories that any mother would cherish. unfortunately, none of them convey her life now.
safaa no longer shares fun, beautiful memories- she documents the harsh/cruel reality she now faces: writing her kids' names on their arms in order to prepare for the worst, walking through unpaved roads dirtied with debris/sewage, her kids needing to help tend to a fire instead of playing as kids should.
my heart breaks for all of them- and i want nothing more than to see her family be able to get a chance to have more beautiful memories. i don't have much- but i'd be grateful to anyone who is willing to match my donation to safaa's gfm (β¬5- proof of donation below)
safaa- may you and your family continue to stay safe during these hard times. i hope my words will bring other kind souls your way π€
for anyone looking for safaa's verification links: 90-ghost northgazaupdates note: safaa + her family has had to make multiple accounts- they have all either been suppressed/terminated (this is also why the verification/reblogs from ibtisams/heba-20 no longer have working links) as for me: i myself do not vet/verify any gfm campaigns bc i don't have that savvy to do so (not fluent in arabic // not a part of any grassroot orgs that do have that experience // etc). i simply share campaigns after they've been vouched for by other reliable sources π€
I am Samah, a mother living with my family in Gaza under harsh and difficult conditions due to the ongoing war. We are currently living in a tent, which is extremely challenging, especially with winter approaching and the hardships it brings. Our tent does not provide adequate protection from the cold and rain, exacerbating our suffering, particularly with young children who need care and attention.
Obtaining these documents is the key to escaping the horrors of war and seeking a safe future for our children. As shelling intensifies and the realities of war loom over us, we live in a constant state of increasing anxiety and fear for our lives.
Every moment that passes brings new threats, making us feel that time is running out. Furthermore, there is a possibility that the crossing out of Gaza may open soon, which adds to the urgency of our need to be prepared.
Every donation, no matter how small, briangs us closer to our goal and a fresh start away from the current chaos. We sincerely ask for your support. Whether through a donation or sharing our story, you give us hope for a better life. We are deeply grateful for any help during these tough times. Thank you for standing with us

i have abt 800$ right now ineed to save at least 2,000$ more before ican really get out!
Please, you are my hope to save my family from hunger and death
I hope that my message reaches all the free people in the world and those with compassionate hearts. I ask you to save my family, because they are in danger.
Every day we face death. the situation is dangerous. There are no necessities of life. No food, no milk, no diapers, no medicine. All goods are at ridiculous prices. My little daughter has hepatitis C, and she suffers from a high temperature and lethargy in her body. The fear of losing her became very terrifying for me.
Living in Gaza is very stressful. This war kills without mercy. We are in very great danger. Bombs are over our heads
Every minute poses a threat to my life and the lives of my family, so I ask you to help me quickly. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference in their lives. Or share this link with your network.

hello, sharing your donation link here as well!
emily gwen, the creator of the sunset lesbian flag that weβve come to commonly use, still continues to live in poverty.
multi-billion dollar companies have used their design and made profit from it, and yet they have not seen a cent for their creation.
iβve been friends with emily for years, and i have not once seen them be financially stable the entire time. iβve seen them homeless, unemployed, starving. right now, they need our help more than ever.
please consider donating to emilyβs ko-fi, especially if youβve used their design to create something and profited from it.
PLEASE REBLOG THIS AND CONSIDER DONATING TO KEEP THEM AFLOAT, EVEN IF YOU CANβT GIVE TOO MUCH. THEY DO NOT HAVE CONSISTENT AND STABLE HOUSING RIGHT NOW AND NOBODY IS HIRING EVEN IF THEYβRE APPLYING TO JOBS DAILY. EMILYβS BILLS ARE PILING UP AND THEYβVE BEEN PUTTING OFF THERAPY + PSYCHIATRIST + DOCTORβS APPOINTMENTS BECAUSE THEY CANβT AFFORD IT.
Your charitable donations will be double rewarded by God in your life and your eternity.
i just want from you to have 5 minutes from your time to read my story .. please
Donate if you can
Reblog if you canβt
