Alternate version of a btvs au.

Roman as Buffy because he objectively fits the character best.

This time, Virgil would be Angel (anxious loner who's trying to be a good person and make up for his past misgivings) and Janus would be Spike (suave vampire who has a homoerotic rivalry with Virgil).

The rest would probably stay the same. Patton as Willow, Logan as Xander, Emile as Giles, Remy as Cordy.

Remus would 100% be Dawn, Roman's annoying sibling who's main purpose is to scream really loud and Roman would protect with his life (this is a Dawn stan account btw Dawn haters dni)

Ok so trial run of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer au

Virgil as Buffy bc he's always the main character to me.

Emile as Giles because therapist kinda has similar vibes to librarian. Question mark ?

Patton as Willow (obviously) then Logan as Xander and Roman as Angel. Because I really like the idea of the light sides being the kind of "good guys" in this. Also Roman needs to be the romantic lead it's The Law.

Remy as Cordelia because vibes. When he goes shopping he always has to have the most expensive thing, not because it's expensive, but because it costs more. (For the Angel enjoyers among you, yes that means future rosleep).

Janus as Spike. He and Roman are fighting over Virgil and also have a weird gay thing going on.

Idk what to do with Remus. The only main character I've not cast is Anya, which would mean intrulogical and that's cool. It would be fitting if he was Angelus, but I don't like the stance that Angel and Angelus are different people. Hm.

I like to imagine that there was a time in distant past when Janus and Virgil were actually quite close because y'know self preservation and fight or flight are relatively similar (both involved keeping you safe), I can imagine them drinking from wine glasses sitting together (Virgil drinking Gatorade, Janus having actual wine) watching Remus and Orange beat the shit out of each other and having to be the ones to drag the two away from each other if it got too violent and annoyingly loud, R and O are both screaming trying to get at each other and J and V just look at each other both so done
