#wheel of time#wot on prime#Liandrin Guirale#Lanfear#Moghedien#I know we'll probably get their posters on next WOT Wednesday but I got impatient and decided to make them myself#You'll have to forgive the quality for Moghedien's poster there weren't many shots to choose from so far#and to say none of those were well lit is an understatement#Was my first time really playing around trying to make some posters and I had A LOT of fun#Might have gotten a bit carried away with Moghedien's cobwebs 😂#Also I didn't know what Moghedien's story would be in S3 so it was hard to pick a background...#I want to say that the vibrant red of Liandrin's costume dispersing while the darker side doesn't is a deliberate choice

so this happened:

The whole sequence was such quality I didn't know which part to draw. But something in the audacity of the 'link with me' and Liandrin's belief in her power against all these other Aes Sedai chilled me to the bone (or got me hot ? hu).

Sadly the end result is the opposite of what I wanted to portray. My decision to make each Ajah's colour the background was surely the wrong way to proceed (as I was aiming for something dark and malicious). But I love the details of Liandrin's outfit, echoing the blood stains on her face.

Regarding my post about a potential community for people who are more interested in the women of the Wheel Of Time, I set up a community on Dreamwidth, called (how original of me) Ladies of The Wheel of Time.

You will need an account to join it, and if you don't have one, you can create one here.

I've also posted this link in the sticky note of the community so it's easy to find, but here's a guide to get you started on Dreamwidth. It can be a bit confusing at first, as it's quite different from how tumblr works, but don't hesitate to ask if you have any uncertainties, I'll always be willing to help!

If you're joining us, you might as well want to join the Tar Valon community. It's more generally about the show and the books, people are kind and mindful not to spoil!

I haven't fully discarded the idea of coming up with a Discord server to allow more spontaneous interaction, especially with the new season coming soon (next month 🥳), but I've never done that before and it has appeared to be harder than I thought. As I wanted something to be ready before the full trailer was released, I figured the community was the best place to start. Also, as much as a server is lovely for spontaneous discussions, it's not the best place to hold fandom events, or keep tracks of discussions and creations. That's why I truly believe a community would be a nice place for us to hang out!
