Obligatory pinned post but it’s just a very condensed version of my about page
Hi I’m Enigma and I’m a writer and artist who, just like any writer and artist, never writes or arts. I do lots of fan work, but if you’re interested in my original work, you can find it on my Art Blog under the tag Moth Mayhem.
I am over 21 but there’s really not gonna be anything like that on my blog. Just a place I look at pretty art and funny stuff.

I'm downsizing the biggest bone in my collection because I just don't have room for him or a purpose for him. He's a bush-collected giraffe (not killed for purpose! not a trophy! this animal died on his own!), not a member of an endangered species (it's legal for me to sell him across state lines) and no paperwork is needed to own him (although I do HAVE some paperwork, which I will give to you), and he's... way too big to ship. Like, legally he fits in the largest box USPS accepts without freight weight, but do you know how expensive that would be?
So here's the kicker: I'm only selling him to someone within driving range. I will deliver this bad boy to anywhere in a 3-ish hour range from Chicago, or 4 if you have a cool zoo. That means anywhere in Chicagoland, Milwaukee, Madison, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids (Detroit's a little too far, sorry!), Toledo (cool zoo!), downstate IL, the Quad Cities, anywhere in that general area. I can be pretty flexible! If you're outside of that radius, we can meet halfway. We will meet in a public parking lot, I will hand over the skull, and you will go home with a beautifully cleaned giraffe. Seriously, look at him. He's beautiful. Honestly if it was just the space thing I'd keep him but he's so far outside the scope of my collection that I really do think he needs a new home with someone who will love and appreciate him more than I do.
I'm asking 800 for him- that's what I paid- and as male giraffe skulls without mandibles run over a grand on Skulls Unlimited, that's a pretty good price! It's literally a thousand dollars cheaper than a comparable skull! This would make an amazing part of any natural history collection or teaching collection, and is just one of the coolest things you could possibly own!

Question: Which of your characters have undergone the greatest change from their conception to now?
So funny thing! Of the main cast, other than a few small changes and art adjustments... Their first ever references were the first ever takes on their designs!
This blog started pretty abruptly with very few plans, and kinda evolved over time to what's going on now. Only one character has had a major design shift, and she hasn't been introduced yet...
The Bisharp's Kingambit boss, Harpe! Who I still haven't introduced, but she's on my Toyhouse, so her design isn't a *huge* spoiler, so if you want a sneak peek, you can see a bit of her old and new design below!

Anyway it's not necessarily a thing I enjoy but it's very funny to say that every single major character on this blog has hooves.
The Bisharp? Well, that's a given. The Kingambit? Also kinda applies. The Gallade? Okay now we're being silly. And that's not even all of them, there are two others who apply we haven't seen yet!
As for design traits? I really like to give my characters 'eyeshadow' and fingerless gloves! But mostly the eyeshadow. As you can see from this quick character collage because it got me wondering how often that feature pops up.

Happy Munday! If you had to choose a season to live in for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
Autumn!! Always Autumn.
Pretty colors and nice cool weather and also the days aren't too short yet. Plus harvest time for many good foods! And also the best holiday!! And also I'm not unemployed in Fall.
Spring would also be fine but Fall's just got more going for it. Winter gets that Seasonal Depression going and the heat waves in Summer are so not worth it. I am a Certified Heat Hater. Give me a good 50-70 fahrenheit degrees and I'll be happy.

Which Pokémon-world Berry is your character's favorite? Which one is also their least favorite? (canon universe)
(Can be one, two, or more berries per character I don't mind)
I like to go with their natures to determine their favorites! Though the Bisharps mostly eat the basic berries since that's what's most available to them! I can list both basic and something a little different.
Clarent likes bitter food, so she likes Rawst berries! She also likes Ganlon berry, a nice flavor with an added bonus of a defense raise.
Gladius likes sweets! Pecha berries might not be very useful for a steel type, but he really likes them. Would probably devour a Watmel berry on his own if given the chance, a berry to cut and eat? Incredible. Too bad they don't grow in Paldea.
Sabre likes Aspear and Apicot berries. She'll eat the whole Aspear berry, peel and all. But she's prone to only eating the 'tastier' half of an Apicot berry. (She also hates Cheri berries)

Fun fact, on top of being staunchly against genAI, ellipsus literally has an Export To AO3 button. I do the majority of my writing in LibreOffice, but I've been moving all my GDocs over to ellipsus for a bit and I really love the interface. If you're looking for an alternative to GDocs, this is The One.
