I decided to change Joie De Vivre from a "head" skill to a "nervous system" skill, since this kind of defensiveness sort of becomes hardwired into your nervous system overtime with trauma. It's also counteracted by another skill I'm working on that represents hope in the face of it all since Jean seems to fight with himself a lot. He's not a total pessimist otherwise he wouldn't give Harry so many chances. He has a big heart he just hides it under this fucking spiky thing.
