oh very good question i love me some bones. limiting it to human bones for simplicity but there are some cool ass animal bones out there too
the pelvis is cool to me primarily because of how complicated it is. look at all these weird ass shapes it makes. evolution rolled the dice until this weird fucked up butterfly shape managed to work. also the pelvis does a lot for us. plus our friend the tailbone is here. the pelvis is one of those deceptively complicated bones which i find fun. she's weirddddd and lowkey i found it easier to learn about the details of the skull in my high school anatomy class
look at this beast. this bone is the strongest in our body and it shows. she is nearly intimidating in her strength. hurts like FUCK to break one of these due to how strong it is, but like look at her. she's a star. i'm especially enchanted by the head of the femur bc the way it aligns with the pelvis reminds me of children's toys which you would assemble in similar ways. also cool shape
i like vertebrae in general i think they are cool but i have a lot of love for the atlas in particular. the atlas is the vertebra at the very top of your spine, and alongside protecting your spinal cord and allowing you movement it serves a very important purpose: holding up your bigass head. literally that's why it's called the atlas. it holds up the globe (a human's massive heavy fucking cranium.) so it gets a special shape for that job. awesome. thanks man
2. clavicle (aka collarbone)
look at this guy. it's swanky. sexy. very mobile bone. similar to the femur it hurts like hell to break. i'm a big fan of the clavicle bc it's one of the bones that are very easy to see in a lot of people. also it's probably the sexiest bone out there. of course so many people are into this thing look at it. she's gorgeous
- styloid process (skull)
ok so technically this isn't its own individual bone but instead a part of the skull. but if you've ever studied the skull you would know that it is complicated as FUCK so i think i'm allowed to get a little specific. when i first learned about this guy in my anatomy class i was so fucking stoked. we have little spikes! in our skulls! that's so cool! look i can't really explain this one you either get the hype or you don't. umm honorable mention to the zygomatic (cheekbone) part of the skull btw i always liked that one too. bones are awesome
