Gale Dekarios and Shadowheart, Regency version, gossiping about Mr Lorroakan.

I am IMMENSELY late (between work and the flu I had almost zero free time), but I wanted to participate in the @janeuary-month by @firawren , so here I am!

Prompt 16, Gossip.

And perhaps this is a good time to say that Shadowheart is my absolute favourite character in Baldur's Gate 3, and I'm so glad I finally got to draw her! ❤

Raphael, son of Mephistopheles. It’s funny how two things have coincidentally kept me away from social media and limited my personal art time: a demanding workload and wanting to avoid spoilers as I (slowly) continue my run of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

But my forgetfulness worked in my favor this time—I just realized I never posted this drawing of Raphael here!

This handsome satyr is named Captain James Grigoriou, drawn by @esthesiaart! He's English but of Greek ancestry, hence the Greek key background that is also reminiscent of ocean waves for his profession in the navy.

James is an OC from a Regency monster romance I'm working on. It's inspired by Persuasion, but it has some elements of Emma too, and the human woman James is in love with is his childhood friend, Alice Elsworth. So the story is basically childhood friends to enemies to lovers. I'm kind of shy about this story, but if people express interest in it, I may be persuaded (heh) to share some snippets of it on here at some point.

Go check out more of @esthesiaart's wonderful art! I found her through this portrait of Regency!Gale from BG3, and I also love that she put him in an iconic wet white shirt! She's also got a Regency!Wyll portrait and other art that is more monstrous.

It's been a pleasure working on this commission of James! Follow this project if you love monstrous creatures and the Regency era! ❤️

The crossovers between Gale and the mages of Dragon Age continue. After Morrigan and Anders, today it's the turn of Solas, one of my favourite characters of the series. I wanted to play on the divine aspect of both, and the costumes they wear when they manifest as such <3
