Jeongguk never thought that it could be so hard to walk around New York.

There are people everywhere, going in a thousand different directions than him, and they walk so fast Jeongguk struggles to keep up even with his long legs. The shops he caught his eyes on were always full too, making him turn away from the door and look for other places that aren't so filled to the brim. Maybe he should’ve gone somewhere not as touristy as Times Square.

Hi hi, long time no see!

First of all, I'm really sorry for not posting any writings since September of last year :( life was happening and I just couldn't find the time to write anything. I know I say this all the damn time but it really is the truth T_T

That aside, happy 2025 all! We will be welcoming back 5 of our boys this year, will have 6 members back by the time it's Festa, and Hobi is releasing new music and touring!!!!!!! I repeat, HOBI IS TOURING!!!!

Did your country/city get tour dates? If so, are you planning on going? I just hope I can secure tickets because I know it will be a bloodbath :')

The first time I had known of you, it was from a birthday live in 2015. I clicked on the video randomly, with zero knowledge about you and Bangtan, and I was confused. Why are these boys so loud but not the birthday boy? I didn’t know anyone’s names back then. Didn’t know your personality. Didn’t know how much you’d mean to me in the coming years.

Namjoon props his cheek on his fist, dragon eyes looking at your hand that’s holding a fork. A fork you’ve been using to “scoop” up soup out of a bowl. Well, trying to.

Jeongguk beams at your blurry face on his phone screen. “It does?”

“Yeah. I like the lyrics too,” you say, humming the hook part. “Although, it’s more on the romantic side. Are you sure it’s for your fans and not someone special that I don’t know about?”

Even through an internet connection, your teasing tone rings loud in his ears. Well, you must have said it as one, having no idea that it’s tinged with the truth. Someone special, yes. You don’t know about, well … not exactly.

Crimson blossoms on the apple of Jeongguk’s cheeks that he masks with a fake cough, hoping the wifi on your side is shitty enough that you didn’t catch the color change. You tease him enough without knowing the truth, he doesn't want to imagine what level you’d bring it to if you knew.

“Hey, my fans are special. I can’t be romantic with my fans now?”

Nice dodge. Jeongguk high-fives himself in his head.

“They are, you’re right. Be careful, though, you never know when one of them could fall in love.”

He only wants one person to fall, though.

Too bad that one person doesn’t seem to be picking up the breadcrumbs Jeongguk has been leaving behind.

“That’s fine. I’m only in love with one person, anyway.”
