No. Instead, I raise you "Sua always has her eyes closed because she's inherently idealistic and would rather live in her imagined world than face the reality around her."
This is very apparent in the lyrics of Round One, and also the way that she will either have her eyes closed or look at Mizi. She never faces the aliens (at least not to my memory), as if she doesn't want to acknowledge they're there.

Mizi: My South Korean. Though this could just be bc she's the main character and this is a Korean series
Sua: Sweet German. I literally don't know how 2 explain this one, she just seems like a German to me
Till: American (till the end). Maybe Asian-American? Ik I might get jumped from this one, but Till would fit right in with the young men of America. Stupid? Angry? Barefoot? He checks all the boxes
Ivan: German sorrow. I, as much of the fandom does, hc him and Sua as siblings, so I don't think I need 2 explain myself
Hyuna: All Asian Latina (is that the term?). Saw one person hc her as Latina and it's stuck w me since, but I also feel she's partially Asian.
Luka: Slavic of my heart. Perhaps Polish? Idk, but that pale skin and blond hair SCREAMS Eastern European to me
