jesus this did something to me and I wrote a whole ass thing (and if anyone sees this and decides to make a real fic out of any of it pleeaaase tag me)
so influencer!Lando whose side hustle as an escort blends so seamlessly with his existing life that he doesn't really bother to hide it much. he was born rich but wanted to make his own money so with help from his parents to move out and have a home studio, he leaves school with like bare minimum GCSEs and immediately begins his influencer work. the escort part of course came a little later and wasn't even really planned. he doesn't get 'paid' by the men he's with per se - they just pay for everything when he's with them and often shower him with expensive gifts. he eventually buys his own house but Max lives there more than him.
engineering student!Oscar who insists on working as a driver for a private car firm so that he's not entirely dependent on his parents who are paying for his distance learning at maybe Brunel? if we're keeping this McLaren/Woking/London centric. the job blends perfectly with his internship in F2. maybe he shares a flat with Logan and Robert since he's gone so often. Lando is already living his dream while Oscar's dream is to be a race engineer in F1.

I think Lando's hair helps with the optical illusion. But definitely Oscar is at least 6-7cm taller than Lando
It drives me insane how their shoulder lines are so distant but then the height different it's not that big. I blame Lando's delicate long neck for it.

Lando has said he feels pretty confident in McLaren heading into 2024, obviously you hope you guys will be up there challenging Red bull, closing that gap that weโve seen through 2023. How competitive are you expecting to be? I- I dont know. I think for Lando to be confident is quite a big statement. You know heโs obviosly been with the team a lot longer and seen the fluctuations that every team inevitably goes through.
