Introduction

Hello hello!

This is my first ever post on tumblr, but I wanted to have a place where I could share my thoughts on my hyperfixations and writing what with the whole tiktok ban and what not :)

I have never used tumblr before so if the formatting is weird, please be nice, I am. struggling. ToT

Anyways! Here's a little bit about me!

I'm Faceless_Aces, or just Ace! I'm a musician, writer, cosplayer, and general lover of all things crafty! You *probably* know me from one of my hypno fics, in which case you'd know that one of my long time interests is hypnosis! I'll probably be posting a lot about that, either educational, or just general thoughts :)

Some of the fandoms I'm in are Gravity Falls, Epic The Musical, and The Stanley Parable. Gravity Falls is my most current hyperfixation but I love all of them!

My Bill design for post-theraprism when he's back at the shack in my Reversed Experience fic :D

Fun little details:

  • His left eye socket is empty but theres a bunch of glowing scar cracks that 'leak out' past the socket into the rest of his face :) These will get healed as his relationship with Ford gets better
  • SO MUCH (Stolen) JEWELRY TRULY BRO IS DRIPPED OUT
  • He keeps his pocket watch on him at all times, even though it is cracked and he can't use it :)
  • His ears are slightly pointy!
  • Kind of hard to see but he's got a ton of 'tattoos', namely one under his eye of 3 triangles, one across his chest that spells 'Redemption', and a brick design up his shins. Don't know why it's so hard to see :pensive:
  • He wears eyeliner!! It's def smudged (and I STRUGGLED to make it look like he was wearing eyeliner, and not just having massive eyebags) but he does that guyliner type of thing, and also has LONG ASS LASHES the absolute diva
  • He's a bit paler than he was before Theraprism because of the lack of sun, so he's a bit ashen :) He gets tanner after the reconciliation with Ford as well >w<
  • HE WEARS TWINKLE TOE LIGHT UP SHOES!!!!! He found them in the lost and found of the Shack and they were the only shoes that fit him and were also velcro so he kept them. He eventually gets new shoes, but he's also unreasonably attached to these
  • He also got an ankle monitor so he can't leave the area around the shack! He wears it over a sock for sensory issues <3

The Domesticated Ford AU is having its first contest!!

There will be two categories: fanart and fanfiction. Feel free to enter both or either! You can enter as many times as you like. The winner will be decided by public vote. Please donโ€™t vote for yourself when that time comes! Do encourage others, as well, to make this a positive experience for everyone. c:

1st place for the drawing category: shaded drawing

2nd place for drawing/first place for fic: flat colored drawing

3rd place for drawing/2nd place for fic: sketch

Feel free to draw any character from the AU, in any timeline! You can also include OCs and other AUs. Multiple characters are allowed per drawing/story, and comics are permitted, as well! Gore is allowed but full nudity/explicit sexual content is not. Itโ€™s just not my jam. You can get a little saucy with it, if you want, but please donโ€™t cross that line!

Reasons why I love IRL hypnosis so much, compared to hypnosis sessions online:

  • Flopping! Although flopping can be risky and you always gotta be careful, it can also be so incredibly comfy to flop. Having the literal feeling of falling somehow takes you even deeper. And when you know there's someone to catch you, you can truly let go and relax all the way! That moment when you flop into their arms... I WANT IT EVERY DAY
  • HYPNOHUGS I'm a huge teddybear! I always wanna hug my friends and loved ones, and hugs are just so comfy and safe, but gosh... when you add hypno to it!... Dropping someone into trance, while hugging As a hypnotee you get to melt and get comfy into your hypnofriends arms, knowing they're there to hold you and take care of you. And as a hypnotist you can feel someone just melting in your arms, as all their muscles just relax, taking care of them knowing they are in absolute heaven.
  • Shock inductions They are 100% my favourite! And so much easier IRL, as you can pull arms, suddenly get close, use physical touch. And they hit so much harder too! Gosh I love a good pattern interrupt so much!
  • Kinesthetic things I love kinesthetic techniques! Rocking someone side to side, pushing down their shoulders to release tension, gently shaking their wrist, dropping down their arm, or slowly moving around their head. Those gentle lovely deepeners... But also sudden things for the shock inductions are so lovely!
  • Non-Verbal inductions Especially when you have a great rapport with your hypnofriend, you don't even need words to drop someone. Just a simple tap on the forehead, a push on the shoulder or gently guiding the head down is enough to drop. Bonus point if the whole trance including the awakener is non-verbal too.
  • Observing As a hypnotist it's a lot easier to observe someones indicators of trance IRL, compared to videocalling. Being closer makes it easier to see any eye fluttering or rapid eye movement. Feeling the floppiness of their muscles. Seeing the hypnoblush on their face. Even noticing their breathing and breathing along can get you way more connected, or can help time the drop just right.
  • Fuzziness The fractionation hits so much harder, but you don't have to worry feeling too fuzzy to function, because your hypnofriend is there to take care of you. It's perfectly fine to just giggle and enjoy the fractionation as your hypnofriend is hypnotically murdering you

Itโ€™s finally done!! Or at least the first part of it is lol. Iโ€™m so excited to finally post this, it took a WHILE to write but I think it came out pretty damn good :)

Canโ€™t guarantee the next chapter to come out anytime soon, but I do have it all outlined already! So I know how itโ€™s going to go, it just might take a while to write it.ย

Ok, so I just spent the last 3 hours writing A Reversed Experience, and I really wanted to finish the oneshot but....

And that's barely HALF of the plot I have planned lol!! I will say, I am REALLY proud of this fic, probably one of my favorites if I'm being honest. I'm thinking of splitting it up into 2-3 parts, so it'll be a twoshot or a threeshot instead of a oneshot, but I'll try to write the other chapters before posting the first one so you don't have to wait as long lol.

It's been a while so here, have my human design for GravityDrop!Bill :) I'll draw a triangle one eventually...He's loosely based off a ringleader cuz GD!Bill is definitely a showman type, and paired with the hypnosis I think it just fits :) I plan on remaking this sometime digitally, as well as one for him post-canon, because lord knows I can't draw with pencil and paper well but alas! Also, it would look much better with color lol. Anyways some more details below!

fiddauthormay ideas for the pecking

  • ford and fidds having their own relationship before meeting emma-may, and ford is so scared that emma-may is his replacement. the two of them show him that that's definitely not the case
  • ford being a later addition to the relationship, so fidds introduces his girlfriend to his boyfriend and leaves the room to let them bond for a second while he goes to the bathroom (unsure if they'll get along) only to come back to them in a fierce debate about whether rangers are a bad class or not
  • study sessions where they're all laying on the floor of ford and fidds tiny dorm so their legs and bodies are all tangles while they separately read their textbooks and take notes, propping their stuff on each other and laying on each other for comfy cushions (and consequently elbowing each other and pushing the others away when they get in the way of Important Work)
  • poking fun at each other for their majors despite all being stem majors (think the line in the martian where someone says "it's just botany, it's not like it's real science.")
  • ford feeling left out because he's not one for PDA and prefers not to be part of the public face of the relationship (for safety reasons and more) so his partners show him he is definitely as much a part of this relationship as both of them are
  • if they're all cis-- emma-may is pregnant! but uh. they're not sure who the father is.
  • ^ (or some other fun combination of compatible reproductive systems :P)
  • what if they all celebrate different winter holidays and get to introduce each other to their respective traditions :)
  • meeting the parents (probably emma or fidds' parents. something tells me ford isn't going home for the holidays anyways)
  • someone coming to emma-may As A Woman to tell her she thinks fidds is cheating on her and emma's just like. whaaaat wow thank you for telling me. comes home to her boyfriends kissing and she's like you'll never believe what just happened
  • the ddmd campaigns go crazy
  • they're menaces in the same course. professors start refusing to let them sit next to each other in classes
