Shortly before we reached our goal, we had our transfers paused due to GoFundMe wanting to verify information and wanting to know if the money had been sent.
I had sent a majority of the money directly to Nour's bank account, but due to an issue we recently had to switch to Western Union. I provided documents and answered all of the team member's questions, but in the end GoFundMe had decided to close Nour's campaign anyways.
The last transfer that was sent to us was on November 3rd and we had transfers paused on the 4th. If you have not received a refund from GoFundMe already, please reach out to them to demand for a refund.
The money that is sent there will be accepted to my bank account which will then be sent to Nour's friend via Western Union who will then forward the funds to Nour for him to receive.
