20-Christian-See my pinned post for my introduction!

Greetings!

Edit because apparently I have to add this: I freely block anyone whose political views are more important to them than being a decent human being.

I don't quite know what I'll be doing with this blog. A bit of everything, I guess? I have a love for fanfiction and any story really. I'm a Christian so I love the story of Jesus Christ the most. I left this blog to create @jazz-fics but I'm not really into writing fanfiction as much as I once was. Is that strange? I guess. If you like strange you can stick around.

Things about me:

  • Psych Student
  • Cat Mom
  • Fiance
  • Bookworm
  • Jesus Freak
  • Writer

Overall I guess this is just my personal blog on Tumblr. Stick around for my rants and my inbox is always open. Just be kind.

@supersoftly I'm so so sorry you have to deal with these people. Probably actually won't but uh...... Yeah.

But really though. To everyone else, every country has issues. Pretending the US is just some awful tyranny because you don't like this sitting president? Have fun dealing with all the new issues you're bound to find. And also remember, you're not in the US anymore. Things aren't the same. And you're no longer protected by the US Constitution.

No shit Sherlock. It's because you're brain dead.

But for real though. What do you expect? Your social doctrine is, "no one can ever be good enough and never forgive people ever". This especially if you are white or straight. Let's however, take that a step further.

You didn't "learn" white supremacy in school. And worshipping minorities doesn't make you an ally...

It makes you a simp. In the most derogatory way that word can be taken. Asking for secure borders is something every country more or less demands. Not wanting to be over run by cheap labor, is something that most countries demand. Why is it white supremacist if it's the West? We are less than 25% of the global population. American schools DID NOT teach me to be racist or otherwise. I grew up with, "we're all in this together, no matter your age, color, religion, or country" messaging in my face 24/7

It occurs to me that the reason our culture thinks people can’t live without sex is that our culture thinks “living without sex” means living without any physical affection at all

People really hear “living without sex” and think it means “no kisses, no hugs from friends and family, no cuddling, no hand-holding or looped arms,” huh?

Probably because we are increasingly seeing those things specifically as precursors to sex, instead of inherently fulfilling actions on their own terms.

@celticpyro ^ That spesifically. There’s an attitude that’s views all physical affection as somehow connected to sex. Hence, a social norm that you can’t have those things in a nonsexual relationship.

So i'm rewatching the Umbara arc and

"So far so good", as if the poor baby isn't holding on for dear life with BOTH HANDS on that handhold 😂😂😭

Suzanne Collin’s just said fuck you to everyone who’s ever critiqued the Hunger Games as being a “teen girl saves the day” story. She said oh, Mockingjay didn’t make it clear enough? Here’s a book about how people have been rebelling for decades only to have their efforts suppressed and propagandized. Rebellion takes time and it takes failure and Katniss may have been the spark that ignited the wildfire but she did so standing atop the doused flames of everyone who came before her.

The boy with the flint striker and the girl on fire
