Pinned - about me!

I am CJ. I’ve vaguely been in radfeminist spaces since 2023, but I only started considering myself a learning radical feminist a few months ago. Again, I am still learning, so if you are here to get mad at me for not knowing everything, I am open to being taught things but I will block anyone for any reason, including if you’re an asshole 💞

I am 22, I don’t shave, I don’t wear makeup, and I am anti-religion + atheist.

I am a lesbian. I also have a small yuri manga collection :)

‘Terf’ implies that I exclude trans-identified females from my feminism; I don’t. I exclude males, including those who believe themselves to be women.

My asks are open! I also want to clarify that I struggle with wording. Be patient with me!

Wanna read my fiction? -> @calliopejane

“Radfems hate GNC people and want to enforce rigid gender roles!”

…Said by every anti-feminist ‘progressive’ that prides themselves on defending trans rights more than female safety.

No, we want to protect gnc people. We want gnc people to know and understand that their gender-role-defying behavior is nothing to be ashamed of. We want gnc people to be comfortable in their clothes.

We don’t want gnc women to be told their ‘gender dysphoric behavior’ is something that can be ‘fixed’ with hormones and surgeries. We don’t want gnc women to be told their ‘authentic selves’ are being hidden by not being trans. We don’t want gnc women to be shamed for being openly female and proud of it.

We don’t want gnc men to be told their long hair and ‘unmanly attitude’ (or in a progressive way, ‘feminine energy’) can be fixed if they just invert their penis.

We want to do away with harmful gender roles. You want to cover it with glitter and rebrand it as something fun to play with because ‘gender roles are okay as long as you identify as whatever you ✨feel✨’.

You think womanhood feels like skirts and shopping, bimboism and makeup, submission and stupidity. We know femaleness is an undeniable scientific fact, and to be a woman is to first be female. We do not assign consumerist behaviors and patriarchal ideals to some vague idea of womanhood and slap it onto whoever wants to play woman for a day.

You have no idea what radical feminism is. You say we are enforcing gender roles, but we aren’t the ones reviving 1950s sexist ideas of what a woman is and repackaging it in a cute queer bow.

Sweatie, you don't know a fucking thing. If anything, the people placing stereotypes on the pedestal are the ones insisting they want to abolish gender.

We don't ask people to be fixed. We give options. HRT is one option. It's ultimately their choice. You deny them agency.

You lot, you so-called abolitionists, are the ones insisting on the system remaining and joining hands with the fascist rather than the faggot.

The idea is the freedom to express how one wishes. Proper gender abolition requires our own letting go of the norms and allowing for that freedom to experiment without pressure or judgment.

So long as you KJK freaks insist on upholding the system through your insistence that trans women experimenting and thriving is the same as the fetishization and objectification of women, you are no abolitionists. You are blackshirts.

Did you call me sweaty

That's what you focus on?

Bob Ross wouldn't even spare the energy to call you a happy little accident. He'd call you a mistake to your face.

Anonymous asked:

What’s ur opinion on asexuality? Been seeing this discourse a lot nowadays and just wondering about what u think about it bc usually i agree with ur takes

I definitely like. Believe that asexuality exists. I believe there are people out there who do not feel sexual attraction in any capacity.

I also believe that 80% of ‘asexuals’ online are either kids who don’t have high libido because they’re literally 12 or adults who think they must be asexual because their sexual attraction isn’t the typical sexual attraction shown on tv and represented to them. And I get why they’d believe they’re asexual, and I don’t really knock anyone who identifies as asexual that may not actually fit the true (sexual orientation) definition of asexual.

I also don’t think asexuality and aphobia are equal to or even near the level of homosexuality and homophobia, which is why it’s irritating that asexuals are grouped with LGB people. (Because asexuals absolutely deserve support, but it is absolutely different to be homosexual.)

Essentially, I support asexuals, but I think a majority of self-identified asexuals online are not asexual, and I do not think asexuality should be grouped in with the LGB.

But also, I do not care about this topic enough to actually talk about it beyond something like this because I engaged with enough asexual discourse at 13 that it is just so bleh to me now and not worth arguing about.

Terfs spend too much time talking about trans women and not enough time talking about actual women's issues

Fetishistic men trying to erase the definition of "woman" and invading our bathrooms, changing rooms, spas, prisons, and sports is very much an "actual women's issue." We don't need a female-cosplaying XY to tell us what issues are pertinent to us.

I think that TIMs spend too much time trying on their female relatives underwear without their consent or knowledge, posting sexual fantasies, committing sex crimes, trying to be something they're not, and bothering real women. Worry about your own issues.

Trans women are women. End of discussion.

Asserting something patently false and finishing it with "end of discussion" doesn't make it magically true, unfortunately.

Their entire ideology hinges on “If someone says something, it magically becomes true” so it’s not surprising that they cannot argue their own beliefs at all.

We spend a lot of time talking about other women's issues, actually. Reproductive rights, domestic violence, sexual violence, menstrual stigma, female genital mutilation, acid attacks, child marriage, etc.. One of the reasons many of us peaked on the trans movement is that we were no longer allowed in liberal "feminist" spaces to call them women's issues.

If you can't define womanhood, you can't exclude any issue from being a "women's issue."

Friendly reminder that feminism is about equality.

Radfems, TERFs and SWERFs are not real feminists, they're biggots hiding behind the idea of feminism.

Reminder to my fellow left wing women that no leftist will ever tell you to stop being Too Angry with the rich so you should be extremely suspicious of anyone who tells you that your feminism shouldn’t name men as oppressors and demand accountability from them, or that you should give a particular group - trans people in OP’s case - unlimited exemptions from criticisms of misogynistic behaviours and politics.

As for the sex industry, if the only hardship you think these women and girls go through is people speaking badly of them, that in itself is a massive privilege. Here’s an example of what it’s actually like. You should care about that because these women and girls are as human as everyone else.

Unfriendly reminder that if your feminism isn’t about the liberation of women from male oppression, you’re not a feminist. End of story.

I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever stop talking about my vagina and reproductive organs. If you want me to, well you’re just going to have to fuck off.

I have every right to speak on my health, and my physical health and that of other women will forever be more important than the entitled feelings of men.

Some of y'all just won’t understand the feeling of solidarity talking about your biology with other women gives. Yes, girl, tell me about how those period cramps made you puke.

Women’s healthcare is so shit anyways. I’ve learned a lot about my body exchanging stories with other women when the doctor will not give me any answers or just straight up say idk girl. It’s not TMI it’s education

being diagnosed w the flu. spending four of my five days out of work feeling fine. now today is my last day out and i feel like shit. 😃

I hate that everything and every modern piece of art that includes women has to have that token trans-identified male. Can women have anything to ourselves?? I’m sick of males in everything.

it’s actually so fucking insane to me that leftists can hold the belief that white people, due to their socialization in a racist society, are all inherently racist to some degree and need to constantly be checking themselves and doing work to be actively anti-racist.

but those same people would be sending rape and death threats if I said that male people, due to their socialization in a misogynistic society, are all inherently misogynistic to some degree and need to constantly be checking themselves and doing work to be actively feminist, even if they identify as women.

to all the warriors who will feel pressured to shave their legs now that it’s warm enough to wear shorts… HOLD THE LINE!!!

as this post gets closer to hitting 1k i can hear the “i just hate the feeling of hair” people approaching in the distance & when they get here im turning off reblogs

Now, police, charities, lawyers and child protection experts are asking what is driving this tidal wave of offending, and finding one common thread: the explosion over the past 10 to 20 years of free-to-view and easily accessible online pornography. Material so violent it would have been considered highly extreme a generation ago is now readily available on iPads, desktops and the phones in teenagers’ pockets. A growing body of research is beginning to warn of how problematic porn habits can be a pathway into viewing images of children being abused.
Now it is barely taboo to watch children being abused, and that is linked to porn. Look on a mainstream porn site and you’ll immediately see titles like ‘Auntie takes the boys’ virginity’ or ‘Stepdad and stepdaughter’. When I started working 30 years ago, that was really out-there outrageous, pervy and wrong. Now it’s seen as a laugh.
DCI Tony Garner leads a team of online child abuse officers in Worcester. They carry out “the knock” three or four times a week and are increasingly finding teenagers behind the door. “We are seeing people who are turning 18 and have had 10 years’ exposure to hardcore porn. My officers are finding young people watching the most abhorrent material, including child abuse.”
