I've been relatively quiet on here just because of life getting increasingly busier, but my hot take on Veilguard is that it's kinda just very okay. 🤷🏼‍♀️

#this would have DEVASTATED me at launch and im not gonna lie the polarizing opinions were kinda stressing me out lol#but ive had time to sit with it now and i didnt love it. i wanted to really bad!!! but theres so many glaring issues#i should not get angry looking at the artbook#the writing girls...what was that#all the lore that was scrapped like help#i figured id make lots of art! and be really excited to do more playthroughs but man! This one has the least replayability#so i think im gonna step back from dragon age for a little bit. i still love the series and will be doing stuff for the characters i luv!#needed to replay mass effect just to feel something again#veilguard critical#my post

I've seen people complain that the romances in veilguard are too slow which is so weird to me because I love working for it and going insane. It's like role-playing having an actual crush on someone it's so fun and makes the payoff waaaaaay more exciting. And I love that the game forces that.
