Idk if anyone here has read the mpu so this will be very specific and also if you disagree you’re wrong idgaf, but GAs/ELs are literally the exact same as Julian stans/Julian and Magnolia shippers. They’re mindsets are literally identical and they’re both some of the most annoying as fuck people in each fandom lol.
Yeah, Magnolia cared about and loved Julian so at least they had that going for them but it was NEVER in the same way and intensity as how she loves BJ, and it was never going to be him. Just from Magnolia’s pov alone in the long way home (and knowing her in general) we could see it. Same with the Lucien and Gwyn stan’s. You may like Lucien but that doesn’t mean jack shit where Elain is concerned. And the Gwyn of it all is a mass hallucination lmfao, so yeah it feels mean to vaguely compare Julian’s situation to these two but in regard to the integrity of the two separate stories and Elain/Magnolia’s choices, it was always going to be BJ for Magnolia just like it’s written plain as fucking day that it’s Azriel for Elain.

Funny how we've been the ones saying Feysand are the main characters of the series the whole time (alongside Feysands, obviously 😂 ). And suddenly the GAs/ELs are trying to paint themselves as Feysand supporters? After making fun of Rhys for being sexually assaulted, calling Feyre every name under the sky for -checks notes- literally everything, tagging everything they post with "anti Feyre, anti Rhys, anti IC," etc?

I mean this as genuinely and sincerely as possible. These articles and journalists are not trying to dupe readers. they aren’t trying to subvert expectations. they are writing about what the author clearly and obviously put down in the text. not what she said in interviews. not what someone said about their personal opinion or theory online. they are just reading the books and picking up on the obvious direction that the story is headed in. that’s literally all there is to it.

Forgive me for being elitist or whatever but I do genuinely believe that if you came away from a book series liking at least a majority of the characters the author intends for you to like, your reading of the book is likely correct and should be valued above the "anti everyone but my personal favorite who is perfect" readers

Elriel is too much of a good ass story to be passed up on because people want the same stuff we see 24/7. yeah, Az isnt like Rhys or Cas, and Elain isn't like gwyn, nesta, or feyre. yeah, Elriel isnt like feysand or nessian. THATS WHAT MAKES IT GOOD. The slow burn of it, the uniqueness of them!

I lied. Put your clothes back on. We're going to talk about the delicate yet planet-shattering love that Rhysand's had for Feyre since the very first book and how they were endgame since 2009 that they created the concept of books where there are characters like them yet not fully so and the entire concept of "morally grey tattoed shadow daddy" basically came from Rhys but the people in its own fandom think its fun to hate on feysand as if they don't literally dominate romantasy and created the concept of it. Acotar is known to be the first of the romamtasy genre, feysand are the first romamtasy couple and it'll always remain so.
Anyway I’ve crawled out of my magnolia parks universe sized hole I’ve been in for nearly four weeks. My third favorite series of all time easily. This world and these characters have consumed me in only the way acotar and the bone season have been able to do. My take aways:
1. Baxter James Ballentine I love you so much it hurts. He took over the #2 spot on my MMC list upon introduction😭. One of the best male characters (characters in general tbh) I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading about <3 
2. Daisy is my baby girl whom I will defend with my life. SHE DIDNT DO IT YOUR HONOR!!!!!! I love her mind, her thoughts, the way she expresses herself. I love her story and I love how she loves Christian and her brother. I want her to get her hea so badly it’s eating away at my sanity.
3. Extension of point 2 but, Daisy and Christian (my new #3 MMC) endgame NOW
4. Magnolia and BJs story is one for the ages. I love them unconditionally
5. Christian Hemmes is the only blonde man I have ever loved. And when he calls Daisy baby I LOSE IT.
6. Magnolia’s internal struggles and anxieties, and they way they manifest into her daily life speak to me so much. One thing about me I’m going to lock in w an FMC who suffers from anxiety/ocd. And seeing the way BJ loves her and how she loves him😭😭😭 my babies forever
Daisy Haites 1 and Magnolia Parks Into the Dark are two of the best books I’ve ever read in my LIFE. Thanks jessa for these silly little British ppl who just live in my brain now😭
It’s very interesting to me that there’s this new trend with those on the clock app now trying to rip into Feyre for “choosing” Tamlin over Lucien in book one……I could make this long winded and complain about the stupidity of these morons but I’ll just say, she ends up with Rhys. She was always going to end up with Rhys. So, like what’s even the point of this dumbass take? I mean this from the bottom of my heart and from the depths of my soul, just shut the fuck up.
