"Shitty circumstances stink far less when you have someone to go through it with" he laughed at his attempt at a pun and then shrugged his shoulders "I got my revenge when I killed my parents. I made them suffer. But I wish I had tortured them...they got off easy it seems. But there wasn't much I could do, I was young and I needed to get away" he sighs then hugs him tighter "I am glad we have each other now. I may have been a jerk up until now but I had to know you were serious about being my friend and didn't just want something from me. Most just want to use me...or they are bored and just play around then leave. You seemed genuine and it's why I finally let my guard down and decided to let you in slowly" he noticed how much he was enjoying the affection and continued to hug him.

Luis listened with a sympathetic ear. He was silent for a few moments at the mention of parents, trying to remember his own. He struggled to conjure a mental image of them at all, and it saddened him. There was guilt present though; they had gravely suffered because of his actions. He’d never forgive himself for that.

“I understand.” Luis said eventually, “A lot of vampires I’ve met over the years have been untrusting of other vampires. I tend to not consider them enemies, unless they give me reason to. But I understand why you’d be wary. Perhaps I’m just too trusting.” He chuckled, “I’ve got your back, though. Promise.”

"It's not vampires....it's people in general...I don't trust anyone. Vampires themselves haven't proven to be untrustworthy just...I don't even think it's other people I have an issue with...just myself and the risk of hurting others....so maybe I am better off with my own kind, at least I can't hurt them as easily" he shrugs his shoulders then leans his head on him again. He glances up at him and smiles "It's nice I have someone I can trust and know that I can't hurt.." he sighs softly then just cuddles with him for a bit, after a while he sits up and turns to face him. "I...uh...I feel like we should get to know each other more...is there anything you want to know about me? Maybe asking some questions can help us get to know each other"
