Hi everyone! 💛💖

So sorry we haven't communicated recently on the Ring of Belief (2D version) riddles. I also haven't been as active as I'd like.

For the next riddle we need to unscramble a word:

Our character's quest is to find the true bloom of EBYTUA. (rearrange the letters in the correct order)

I also unfortunately should say, back in the fall we wanted fo have another interview with this artist but he declined after the holidays due to poor experiences on the Tinker Bell project. So unfortunately, we do not have further details on Tinker Bell and Fawn's character quest. We'll try and share more pictures if he is willing to share with us, as he mentioned he is okay with that. But, he says that he is no longer comfortable speaking about the early Tinker Bell project. We will also share some more pictures not related to the quest.

We also wanted to share an LA fires fundraiser he's organizing:

I also wanted to mention that I will be reorganizing the blog very soon so stuff will be easier to find!

Good luck on this riddle!

Reminding you guys if you solve the riddle we will reveal more information on story beats for the 2D cancelled version of Tinker Bell! So please don't forget about the word scramble :)

You solved it! I'll make a post soon so stay tuned.

Rosetta needs to find the True Bloom of Beauty on her quest!

Amazing news everyone!

The second Bleakwatch Chronicles book has been announced!

It is set to release November 4th, 2025! I'm just so glad we're getting a book 2!

Update: The books listing has been taken off of the publishers website and it was unlisted on Amazon. I’m not sure what this means, maybe they released the book info too early? Hopefully we’ll get more information as time goes by.

I was able to preorder it off of Amazon and at the time the release date was listed for November 4th but it has now changed to April 7th 2026.

Hopefully we don’t have to wait longer than a year for the second book but we’ll see. I just hope this books gets released.

Today I found out Judith Holmes Clarke passed away earlier this year in March. Without her the world of Disney fairies would not exist.

Thank you Judie for helping in creating the beautiful world of Disney fairies, for all those kids whose imaginations you sparked and thank you for inspiring me with your extraordinary art. I hope to make such beautiful art pieces as you did. May you rest in peace and God Bless. 🕊️

I’d fly backwards if I could, but I guess I’ll fly with you later.

I’ve finished yet another piece of Fan Art of the Disney Fairies! This time, I decided to draw the one and only Rani!

This drawing was really fun to work on, since I absolutely loved the way Rani was characterized in all the books! I’m definitely happy with the end results too :)

I started this series thinking that I’d end up drawing a roughly equal number of movie and book characters, but I ended up drawing all the fairies from the books instead of the movies, with the exception of Iridessa 😅.

I really love the illustrations from The Petite Fairy's Diary/Puchi no Nikki/ Chiisana Yousei Petite no Nikki by Jun Asuka. The book is sort of infamous in the fandom because it is nothing like the other Disney Fairies series and is very canon divergent. In this book it follows an original character named Petite who is clumsy as the 777th full moon where she is to present her fairy talent, but she doesn't know what it is. She is also the smallest fairy in Pixie Hollow so is kind of an outcast for it and has a romance with a character named Dill. I might make a dedicated post to this book, and I really wish it had it's own fandom to be honest. I'd love to see fanart for this little book. The artist had creative control and it doesn't follow any of the other usual canon roles.

So I noticed something when I was flipping through one of my fairy books.

Do the wings look familiar?

So originally, winter fairies had these kind of wings. But this was changed at the last minute. I believe their wings were changed to fit the plot of Secret of the Wings. Tink and Peri’s wings couldn’t really match if they weren’t the same shape. But why were their wings shaped like this to begin with?

The pictures come from the book “The World of Fairies: At the Dawn of Pixie Hollow” which came out in 2009, a three years before “Secret of the Wings” came out. So it looks like for a while, the winter fairies were planned to have these wings.

I find this very weird too. But seeing as the movie was originally titled A Winter Story/Mysterious Winter Woods that begs the question:

Were the winter fairies always going to be retconned to be mysterious and different types? I'd say so. They barely hint at them in the original movie during the tour scene. There is more of an emphasis of spring and fall (like the leaf painting scene) than winter and summer. Probably because the winter and summer movies (all 4 were greenlit with TB) were still in pre-development by the time the movie was out

wanting to tell a story about bringing two worlds together. So when we originally created Periwinkle it was not Tink’s sister. It was a girl like, like when I was in the first day of kindergarten or like the first day at a job. There’s always someone you gravitate toward and you don’t know why yet. You know what I mean? And then as you get to be better friends you realize why. They complete your life in a way that maybe another kid doesn’t complete your life that way. So originally that is how we developed the story and it just wasn’t having as much emotional impact.

Clay Hall, who directed Lost Treasure, actually said “why don’t we just make it her sister?” And we were all like, you know, cause that’s a universal idea that it’s your very right to know your sister. Right? … So then we started the process of what does that mean in this world. So that was a fun creative process and we came upon this idea that oh my gosh there were two little wisps, we just didn’t see it in the first movie.
