hi, i’ve been inactive editing wise for a while and i’m sorry - i don’t have the time to do editblr anymore because of my situation and i’m having a hard time leaving my abusive household now that i’m 18. “but rei, you’re a legal adult you can just leave!” that’s much easier said than done, i have had horrible luck with job hunting and might be homeless by the end of this month so i’ve unfortunately resorted to asking for help or commissions to have some kind of income to show my “roommates” (i say roommates because they no longer have legal custody of me therefore they are not my parents.) i have a dog i need to take care of as well and overall just this would help me buy her food and also myself anything small to keep me going until i can get an interview or get hired. don’t feel forced to donate or commission me, it’s not necessary! but anything helps, even sharing. thank you -rei

Hello, this is a bit of serious post, but I'd like for you all to pay close attention regardless.

Recently, there has been news that Israel has agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza, allowing for many Gaza citizens some moments of peace, not since October 7th, but since the 1940s.

This is incredible news and it frustrated me to see that there was nobody really talking about it.

On January 27th - 31st 2025, I would like for for us all to put a halt on posting in its entirety, including reblogs to stand in silence and commemorate the millions of lives lost. For all the children, women, and men who suffered so harshly at the hands of genocide.

But I'd like to also use it as a day of silent gratitude that there are still many who may finally be able to breathe, who are finally able to receive care after so much pain and struggling.

The rest of Palestine is still under rubble and ruin. They still need help. Please, keep speaking about it as loud as you can, post donation asks and reblog any that you see, and hold hope that Israel will listen and let them free as well.

If you feel that the duration of the halt is too long, please remember, 75+ years. They have suffered for 75+ years.
