Since I saw some people spreading misinformation about Metallica members' girlfriends in the 80s, I wanted to clear the air:

Some people are claiming that when James was 20/21 during the RTL era (1984/1985), he had two "underage" girlfriends. That is blatantly UNTRUE.

1. One of the girls, Leah, graduated high school the same year she dated James (1985). They have a 3? year age difference.

2. Second girl is Marlo - she is only 2 years younger than James. Now in 2022 she is 57 and James is 59.

Do NOT trust sites like whosdatedwho or such unconfirmed sources. On Lars' whosdatedwho page it says that he had a thing with Naomi Campbell...there isn't even a single picture of them together. It's time to stop spreading misinformation and to stop accusing people of shit that never happened.

Also, I saw people's claiming that Kirk and his ex-wife Rebecca met in 1982 when Kirk was 19 and Rebecca 15/16 - that's only a rumour, and it hasn't been confirmed anywhere by either parties. Also, there are no sources that actually confirm Rebecca's age when they met or her current age. We only know Kirk's current age. We also know that Rebecca's instagram is @/shabeccca (if anyone is interested) (also, her age isn't stated anywhere on her Instagram page either). I have however seen this comment under one youtube video by Cockstails and Rock Tales by someone who claims to have known Rebecca:

As I said - Rebecca's age has never been confirmed by either parties, and there are no reliable sources to confirm her age. So you should take these sites with a massive grain of salt.
