Did you know that you can donate to help Ukrainian Bat Rehabilitation Center? Not only that, you can also "adopt" a bat! "Adopt" as in the bat you choose stays in the center, but you help it via donations and get regular updates on your bat. How cool is that!
If you want to support Ukrainians, DO NOT donate to Red Cross. Can't speak about their work in other countries, but they're useless in Ukraine. The only trustworthy international organisation I can think of is World Central Kitchen.
And it's even better to donate directly to Ukrainian organisations. Here are a few good legit places:
hospitallers.life - "Hospitallers", Ukrainian paramedics on the frontlines
savelife.in.ua - "Come Back Alive", assistance to the army
prytulafoundation.org - "Prytula Foundation", assistance to the army, humanitarian causes
starenki.com.ua - "Starenki", helping elderly people
everybodycan.com.ua - "Everybody Can", helping disabled children, elders and hospitals
uanimals.org - "UAnimals", saving animals
russia shelling Kharkiv, Ukraine today 💔
Call and email your representatives, ask for air defence for Ukraine, it's a question of our survival.

hope OP won't mind me adding another donation option: a czech NGO called NESEHNUTÍ (which i can vouch for due to having personal connections there) currently has a campaign going on that is trying to raise money to buy solar power plants for ukrainian hospitals (so that they have a more stable source of electricity and are less vulnerable to grid outages). the campaign has already succeeded in providing solar power plants to several ukrainian hospitals and is realized in collaboration with ukrainian organizations. the current objective is specifically to provide solar energy to the hospital in zaporizhzhia (only a few dozen km from the frontline).
the most recent post about the campaign from the NGO's facebook page, which also includes a short informative video. the post and the video are both in czech, but you can translate them for yourself using a machine translator.
I cannot express how bad the electricity situation is in Ukraine after russian attacks. So donationg for solar panels is a good idea, thank you! Also Zaporizhzhia is my hometown that I love with all my heart
This is what our energy infrastructure workers are dealing with:
This is just terrifying. It's such a common thing, to go to the mall on a weekend. But you never know if you'll come back home or burn alive because of russian bombs. People go to home improvement store to buy tools to rebuild destroyed by russians homes. And never come back. Also because of russians. This is insane.
We desperately need air defence. Especially for Kharkiv right now. PLEASE call your representatives and ask for air defence for Ukraine.
