i will truly never forgive the toxic side of the fandom for taking away the carefree nature lando once had. people being surprised and acting holier than thou that he doesn’t want to share his relationship or any parts of his personal life with fans anymore as if they aren’t the ones constantly harassing him and anyone close to him, including his own fucking parents, anytime they see something they don’t like about him posted online. people are so quick to point the finger at fans of other drivers for being the reason lando doesn’t share as much, which yes probably contributes, but more often than not it’s the impact of someone with lando as their pfp claiming to be a fan. i really just wish that all the toxic fans who care far too much about someone they don’t even fucking knows personal life would realise they’re not even fans of his instead they’re just creepy psychotic weirdos who need to get a life out in the real world.
