Hi there, Psycho-Pass fans! Due to the overwhelmingly positive response I got on my “In Defense of Mika Shimotsuki” essay, I’ve decided to take a flying leap out of my comfort zone and participate in Kinktober for the very first time. Now, I’m no stranger to smut -- if you’d like to see examples of my work, feel free to check out my Ao3 -- but I’ve never actually taken the plunge and accepted requests before, so this should be interesting.
As I mentioned in my essay, Mika has an astonishingly little amount of fic written about her, and what she does have is filled with rape/non-con, humiliation/degradation, and rejection. Not kink-shaming anyone, but I’d love to fill Mika’s Ao3 tag with a little more positivity.
Which is why I’d like to invite anyone who’s interested to either submit a prompt for me to turn into a Kinktober fic or join in on the fun by writing something themselves. If you’d like to participate, please feel free to use the header image I made. The more, the merrier!
