i tell u what as a fairly strictly oneshot writer starting a PROPER longfic has been literal torture what do u MEAN i have to cultivate character development slowly over time and have a plot :((( what do u MEAN I have to write a CHASE SCENE instead of just making the target of my obsession have a breakdown or cuddle sesh this is literally 1984. and i say all of this as i actively work on my google doc. that nobody is forcing me to write. and that i am writing. for fun.
