Stafylos beach, Skopelos Island
Stafylos is one of the closest beaches to Skopelos Town. Just 5 km away from the capital, the stunning bay is accessible by local bus or private car. A nice fish tavern welcomes the visitors and some wooden steps lead down to the lovely pebbled bay with fine grey sand and crystal clear waters.
Stafylos beachoffers some rental facilities and a nice beach bar with cold drinks and snacks. It is partly organized, meaning that the other half of the beach is totally unspoilt. The beach is actually one of the most popular places for swimming for its crystalline bay and its close proximity to the town. This bay owns its name to the Minoan king Stafilos who was supposed to have disembarked in this lovely cove.
Seychelles beach, Ikaria Island
Seychelles beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Ikaria. Located in a picturesque and intimate cove, 20 km south-west of Agios Kirikos, this beach has bright pebbles and rocks, emerald waters and is surrounded by impressive rock formations, creating a wonderful setting.
The access to the beach is possible via a path starting on the main road and descending along the river bed.
