I have no words to describe how excited I am. The First Krakoan Age was far and wide my all time favourite X-Men Era.
It looks incredible and pulled straight out of the comics.
Also Lockheed?! And the dev letter teasing Arakko and more.

Charlie Cox playing an American putting on an Irish accent is amazing, but not the first of his accent-ceptions, for we should not forget when he spoke Spanish in Season 1:
But truly his greatest moment of actingception in the show is in Season 3 whenever Matt had to pretend to be sighted I've written about years ago:
I appreciate everyday that I get to witness this man work his magic in the role again ❤️
I need to talk about the moment when Katara offers to heal Iroh in Book 2. I am so serious rn, this is one of my favorite interactions between Zuko and Katara - when she reaches out to him, and he shuts her down, hard, and they don't interact again until Crossroads of Destiny.
Like, my dude, at this point, to her, he is still an enemy. They hadn't had their talk yet, Zuko hadn't had the chance to show his other side yet, and still she walks up to him while Zuko is shaking with fear, and anger, and pain, and offers to heal Iroh.
It's like deep down in that moment Katara understood what Iroh meant to Zuko, having once lost a beloved parental figure herself. Maybe she saw something of herself in him as he hid his face, likely angry at himself for allowing Azula to hurt Iroh, ashamed for not being able to prevent it, afraid...
Maybe that was the first instance of real understanding between them.
Maybe this instance made it easier for Katara to accept his attempt at reaching out in Crossroads of Destiny, too.
Like.... I am very emotional about this scene, okay.
It's frustrating but kind of amusing when writers tag both the Daredevil show and the Daredevil comics for their fanfics on AO3 because you can immediately tell which they're actually referencing based on how Foggy acts. If Foggy shows up like "Duuuuude, man, buddy" you know it's the show. If he's sitting at his desk in the midst of an anxiety spiral, questioning his life choices and self worth, you know it's the comics.
@oh-tobeafrog thank you for inspiring me with this galaxy brain take on my two favorite marvel heroes :)
this is everything i needed this is it
So the saddest and most terrifying thing abt Dragons Rising is that ALL THE NINJA were canonically ALONE for YEARS.
Yes Kai and Lloyd knew each about each other being alive. But still!
The Ninja were separated long enough for Arin and Sora to go from clearly a child to clearly a teenager (at best that's 3-4 years).
Moreover, the Realms think the Ninja are gone!
I just.
I think about Lloyd alone in the Monastery patching up the cracks in reality a lot.
I think about Kai alone on the Bounty searching for the rest of their family and sending letters back to Lloyd so he and his little brother can stay sane a lot.
I think about Zane in a coma and Nya protecting the Craglings and Cole surviving and building a new family a lot.
Ironically, Jay and Zane may have had it the easiest. No memories of loss for one and just being shut down for years without knowing for the other.
But Kai and Lloyd? Ouch man. Ouch.
