okay more totk rewritten/botw2 wips

bc of a whole lot of changed mechanics (too long to put on here) i wanted each layer of the map to have their own "horse" .. or at least the sky (unsure about the underground)- im very attached to the idea of there being an ancient shiekah monk thats been up there for thousands of years all alone, they are mute and an odd fellow but they would serve as your hub to register tamed birds at (since you cant just fly here (parasail + hookshot only) and replenishing stamina is also limited due to the changed healing/cooking mechanic making you unable to use potions while holding the parasail) that you can call when you are in the sky giving you a little boost in height and depending on their strength perhaps also grabbing onto you/the parasail to glide without using stamina for a very short bit

now, the thing is, i cant decide whether i want them to be a hunched over granpa or a fromsoft-esque long tall thin corpse-guy

hmmm, still a wip, i liked the original sketch but im unsure about the colors still

last week two ambulances, a fire truck, a UN vehicle and around 16 rescue workers were dispatched to save people crushed under the rubble after a bombing in rafah (do you remember rafah? one of biden's red lines.) they disappeared, and due to israeli tanks nobody could enter the area and nobody knew what had happened to them.

a few days ago after the tanks left the vehicles were discovered crushed and buried under the sand, and one rescue worker's body was recovered. israel admitted to targeting them. and then yesterday the rest of the workers' bodies were recovered in a mass grave. one of the corpses had wire around one foot, indicating torture and interrogation, several handcuffed, all of them buried in their clearly marked uniforms and gloves.

cnn reported this story alongside like five other incidents of israel targeting humanitarian workers this past week to little outrage because the workers killed were palestinian and not international, and because israel has been regularly killing humanitarian workers.

but for the PRCS (the palestinian red crescent society), the same organization that hind rajab called desperately from her car around this time last year, one of the few that struggled to save lives throughout the war even when it got their workers killed by israeli forces, these are fathers, sons and loved ones who spent a genocide digging people out of rubble with no equipment and trying to save lives:

all of them were buried in a careless mass grave of rescue workers, found after a week of pleading from their loved ones and radio silence from their murderers and those who enable them.

My one fear of the live action movie is what they will do with Ganondorf but my even greater fear, I realized, is them hiring a white dude and tinting his skin green 🙃

the idea that demise controls not just ganondorf but really anything deemed 'evil' seems to be very widespread in the fandom and im wondering where that came from?

demise was one throw away end boss that, even with the unfortunate lore implications and damage it did to any other antagonist even in retrospect, was never associated with controlling others? (isnt it mostly ghirahim that summons or corrupts things in skyward sword too?) is it just bc he is the (said to be) the ultimate origin of all things "bad" so clearly he is the one controlling everything even post mortem? he is never relevant again and plays an honestly tiny role in the very game he is introduced in (the only one too)- we dont even know what he is capable of given how little he does even in his own fight- he very clearly dies at the end, doesnt fi even say whatever is left of him will be fully eradicated within the master sword??

is it bc of the one line he is always reduced to? (its the damn line he always gets reduced to isnt it..)

As far as I understand Demise controls jack shit after he died. He is however the source of monsters and Ganondorf is a living manifestation of his hatred so I can see how he gets the blame for it all he is what started it. But yeah he died just like Hylia did I’m not sure why the fandom is so determined to drag them into things

'living manifestation of his hatred' but only really in the role he plays (being against hyrule), ganondorf is still born as a person, no matter how utterly uninterested nintendo is into aknowledging it or making literally any use of that fact (the potential for interesting writing and conflicts he has ... the audacity to not use it .....), and the thing is theres been other villains in the same role and yet i havent seen the fandom go all "hes controlled by demiiiiise" about them THIS hard, its always ganondorf that people seem to act like hes a literal demon of one-note-ness spawned from nothing (like demise was lol and you could make a demon interesting too btw- someone being born a monster opens the door to alot of writing potential but its only ever used as a shortcut to tell you 'this thing is evil with no internal life that isnt about murder so dont think about it and jsut accept it as fact' - which is boring as shit to me) or that hes some sort of demise descendant like zelda is from hylia (allegedly) and there is nothing else about him and nothing else you need to know :/
