seeking voltron fan responses
hey guys! so I’m doing a communication analysis speech on voltron and how they use ‘faux-wokeness,’ queerbaiting, and the bury your gays trope (whether intentionally or not) to advertise a progressive show that ended up pandering to the same harmful tropes popular in media. which is exciting - but I need some fan responses to add in to really convey the community attitude toward the show. agree, disagree, whatever - I want to hear/include YOUR voice and opinion!

i keep thinking about how people actually liked and went as far as to say they were affected by the stars above nevada which was definitely amateur and ambitious and pretentious but it was mine and now it's done and out there and some of y'all read it and liked it. what a weird concept. i love all of you. i may shit on vld but i have more stuff i'm writing for klance just because it's what we as people deserve and i am humbled and truly grateful for anyone who chooses to indulge their klance fic needs with tsan. you're all responsible for me staying motivated as i am for writing fic about a show i don't even really like anymore. i love love love u.
