I’m mostly for Harry being born from an accidental pregnancy but people saying he HAs to be because no one would ever get pregnant during a war are so odd. People don’t just unilaterally stop doing things like getting married and having children, because of a war….

i feel like the reason why people usually say he HAS to be one is because james and lily were actively fighting in the war. like they were part of the order of the phoenix and quite literally going after dark wizards to catch them.

i feel that when you say "people don't stop doing normal people things", that mostly applies to the general public that wasn't actively going after dark wizards, for example the weasleys' who were rumored to not be a part of the order of phoenix the firat time around

You were at the point in the summer holidays where life became a little bit boring. Hogwarts never set homework during the summer, which was a blessing, but they did encourage reading ahead. Of course, none of your friends actually did that. Not even your lovely, bookish, knowledgeable boyfriend Remus, who opted for reading a series of Muggle books instead. 

You had a brilliant group of friends to keep you entertained, anyway. James pretty much always had a free house so that you could all hang out together, and his parents didn’t mind you all coming over when they were there anyway. James often joked that his parents loved you all as much as they loved him. Sirius was always full of energy, definitely the life of the party. He could make even the smallest adventures exciting regardless of how insignificant they seemed. Remus was always full of ideas, meticulously planning days out and finding new places to go to satisfy you and your friends adventurous natures. 

But, now, concerts had been attended, museums had been visited and seas had been swam in, and all of you were completely and utterly bored. 

Why can't I have a life like that?
