A little something for my good friend, @lexieluthor1998. After she had done an artwork for my OC boyfriend, Vale, about last year, she had asked me if I could do a fanart of her own own OC boyfriend, Liam Jones, for her one day. So… here we have it.

This was by far, the hardest art I had ever drawn but I think I. Got it right. Lexie even did a new redesign for her persona in The Cuphead Show fanfic adaptation, and no, it’s not a dress, it’s a blouse although I guess they’re a bit similar. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a bit of trouble finding the right coloured felt for Liam’s hair since he is said to have auburn coloured hair.

There’s going to be a reboot of the Winx Club coming to Netflix in autumn this year. To be honest, I’m a bit excited, nervous and concerned about how it’ll turn out.

Will it be just as good as the original or will it face the same fate as most of the live action remakes of Disney classic films?

I had seen some fan videos doing some small reviews after seeing the trailer so far… and I have to be honest, there were somethings about the reboot I have to agree one thing. Not that I have anything against the final versions of the main characters’ fairy forms, but they were a bit too detailed for them starting out as beginner fairies if anyone had seen the trailer and promo arts.

If I have to be honest, I wish the people working on the reboot should have had stuck with the designs as displayed above. Not only are they much closer to the original hand drawn series, but they’re most simple yet pretty for freshmen fairies. Of course, my only criticism is that they should have given Bloom skorts (a combination of skirt and shorts) kinda like in the original.

Oh well… beggars can’t be choosers. 😮‍💨
