nova⠀†⠀she he they⠀†⠀24⠀†⠀18+ warning for horror content, suggestive art

got tired of my current pinned and no one really uses about pages anymore... quick lil thing instead.

call me nova! in my 20s, ambivalent about having pronouns ( but she is I guess the most frequent one ), disabled goth furry and artist.

my blog is marked 18+ for occasional suggestive content, and general comfort with an older audience. I'm acespec, but I'm also a nsfw artist alongside sfw. you can find most of my art on bsky * or fa.

if you wanna support me and maybe get some art from it, I have a few avenues for that, including pretty damn cheap ones.

I love making friends, but operate on vampire rules — just make some indication you wanna talk to me and I'm almost always onboard. you can even message me a chicken emoji for a picture of my flock!

and lastly— I block very freely. usually nothing personal, and I'm typically not against the idea of unblocking if you ask kindly. still up to my discretion though.

see you around! 🦇

i love characters who do the “i worship the myth i make of you” and in turn dehumanize and get wrong the object of their devotion and love. yes project a thing that does not exist onto a pedestal and kneel at it like it is your altar. this will surely not blow up in both of your faces eventually

Have you ever looked closely at a car windshield?

The edge of the glass is painted where it is glued to the car but it has these small dots between the clear and painted glass.

These are there for a reason. When the sun hits the glass the painted areas and the clear areas will absorb heat at different rates. This causes the glass to expand and contract differently putting stress on the glass.

These dots help the glass to warm up more evenly over a larger area so the glass does not suffer stress that could cause it to spontaneously explode.

Fun fact: the Tesla cybertruck doesn’t have these.

Yes, the glass will spontaneously crack or explode in the sun.

HI GUYS. SORRY TO MAKE ANOTHER POST LIKE THIS BUT GHHHHH

I went in for orientation for my job today and I'm gonna start working and hopefully won't have to make another one of these posts!!!!!

However, I won't be paid until 4/11 - they pay weekly every Friday but I won't be paid until the second week I've worked there

I WOULD APPRECIATE YOU FOR EVER IF YOU COULD MAYBE HELP,, i have an electric vehicle and it just gets me from the town i live in and the town i work in, with me having to charge it between trips.

charging is super cheap, usually less than $5 a session, BUT for whatever reason the charging station i use by the house puts a hold of $30 on my account and i just. do not have that right now ;_; not yet

if you wanna help a mentally ill trans guy + his two disabled trans roommates in these trying times.. vvv

im thinking maybe $50 in total will be enough to last me until the 11th but any little bit helps!!!!!

thank you guys for ever ;_;

The Great Dark Spot captured by NASA's Voyager 2 space probe. Around the edges of the storm, winds were measured at up to 2,100 kilometers per hour, the fastest recorded in the Solar System.
