I feel like I’ve been doing a lot more fandom type stuff as of late with the BHFF, working on finishing WCTS, etc that I think it was starting to get a little overwhelming. Somehow writing this piece in a day brought back the love I have for this space and reminded me why I do it. So I’m grateful! For writing and for all of yooouuuuu

I love it too. I hold it very close to my heart because the very first piece of writing I’d ever completed and put out into the world was for that series. And somehow, despite it being 3 years old and despite my tendencies to be overly critical of my previous work, I still really cherish that fic and the way I’d written it.

In that vein, I also really love how the series gives me the ability to take a look at the raw progression of my writing. I’m super evaluative of myself in that way and I find it so cool to have a sort of timeline, lol.

Anyway, there’s something that feels so visceral about writing canon fic. Maybe it’s the morally grey aspect of it all, maybe it’s similar to the way movies use a Based On a True Story banner to heighten your emotions. I just love it. Feels weird that the last time I wrote for the series was at the tail end of 2023. Time has flown!

Also, your reception to any of the work I post on my burner always blows me away. For me, it’s a safe haven to experiment and practice and learn and the fact that you still enjoy it is so fucking cool. Thank you!
