Glorfindel, Lord of the House of the Golden Flower
I used the same general design I've used for him before. Lots of gold and floral motifs. I wanted a flowing sense in his clothing and I wanted to make him look like he was dancing as much as fighting.
Glorfindel felt like a nice choice for the New Year.

For No Reason In Particular i'm about to go absolutely hog wild on the lúthien art in the next couple weeks so i'm gonna save it up for the event, but here's a glorfindel instead!

Ooh, this is a fun question! I like the idea that Glorfindel has both Vanya and Noldo parentage. I imagine that his dad is one of the Vanyar and is pretty chill. His mother is one of the Noldor and is, perhaps predictably, more hot-headed. She is not a follower of Fëanor, however. Glorfindel's parents are both very kind and tender with their son, and they raise him on the slopes of Taniquetil. Neither of his parents leave Valinor until the War of Wrath, at which point I imagine they both choose to fight.

I am head over heels IN LOVE with this fanfic, called All That Remains. The story as a whole is unfinished, but the first part is done and let me just say IT IS WORTH THE READ! If you want to read a tragic but fascinating Legolas AU, this is the one to read!
And my favorite thing in the whole story, a spoiler and not a spoiler, is the relationship between Glorfindel and Legolas. My faves! My blonde bombshells! Trauma buddies if you will!
