Do what you want as long and have fun as you aren’t hurting anyone or being racist/ignorant in your portrayals. And if a minority speaks up about how you’re wrong or about how they feel you’re misrepresenting/fetishizing them, listen to them.

It’s nice to make POC AUs, it’s nicer to listen to Actual POCs about your AUs.

I’ll be reopening my shop after COVID settles a bit more! I can’t reliably get out to a post office right now, safely or otherwise, so my shop is closed for the time being.

Quirin is, if anything, possibly Jewish. I used his skin tone from the show. It was color picked. His skin tone is exactly what it is in the show.

yes why would i make that up haha im one of three admins there but actually the choice was unanimous amongst our entire team of moderators which is like 15 people.

we decided to remove him from the discord for multiple reasons.

one being that he often made young people quite upset during Q&A’s, inferring that varian fans were the reason the shows ratings were poor and also that varian fans weren’t watching the show properly. he also referred to cass and rapunzel fans as the shows “true real fans”.

we have multiple members of the crew on the discord who engage with the fans and he is the only one who has ever done this. every other crew member has been a delight to interact with.

the other reason was that as per is twitter profile he is no longer a disney employee. therefore we decided that it wasn’t quite appropriate for a middle aged man to be on a server full of mostly teenage girls.

at the end of the day, an adult man has no place in an interactive space full of kids, especially if he’s only going to use it to tell them they’re watching the show wrong.

thats why we removed him
