SCHOOL ASSISTANCE
Hello, as some of you may know for the last year or so I have been going through the extremely stressful process of moving countries in order to be with both of my girlfriends, escape our poor living situation as transwomen in the southern United States, and get into college. Within the past few months I have extended our visas to the end of January, gotten my GED, and finally been pre-admitted to college for Early Childhood Education.
However, until we get our study visa and work visa we are entirely reliant on the singular income of our girlfriend's job to cover all of our expenses. Combined with various debts we've racked up in the process of trying to survive multiple life shattering events and the effects this has had on our credit/savings this doesn't leave us in a great position financially.
We've been in the process of rebuilding our lives but things are still extremely difficult. We're going to look into getting a loan to cover my tuition/visa costs but there is no certainty to this or our ability to make steady payments on it. Getting into school as well as getting our more permanent visas would change our lives forever.
So we're once again asking for any assistance that anyone can offer while we try to figure it out as well. We have until March 8th to come up with the $6500 USD required to cover both tuition/visa costs
