to me laios is a beautiful egg on the cusp of hatching that i imagine bursting from her shell with the encouragement from her friends who love her and finds one day she doesnt look like her father at all anymore, she doesnt look like falin either, she just looks like herself. was it always possible for it to be like this? to look in the mirror and see herself there, not the whisper of someone else or the loathing and apathy of before, just her own face looking back at her?
