Hey! Sorry to bother you. I've been hearing rumors that Antebellum is getting a reboot. Is that true?
Yes! That's the current plan! I've been working on this reboot for a few days now and it's shocking how motivated/how much progress I've done compared to when I was forcing myself to try and do something I didn't want to do. I wrote the original Antebellum when I was very young and I don't really like it anymore, I'm sort of seeing this reboot as a way to rework the series into something that I can be proud of and also gives it some (well needed) better writing. Most characters will return in some form barring two. I know the changes will be divisive/disappointing to some fans but I hope people at least stick around to see what it's about and then make their judgements! I've made a lot of progress on the main cast already and if you stick around the discord (which you can also find a longer explanation as to why I want to reboot the series) and other platforms you might see some exciting announcements by the end of the month. Eitherway, I'm still very much testing the waters on if the reboot is something fans want to see. If there's massive backlash I'll return to working on the original, but I can't say when chapter 3 deadly would be released or if I'd work on anything after that with the current storyline.
