striving for perfection

Introduction🎀

about me:

this blog is for the girls with big plans and ambitions that crave knowledge, beauty and a lifestyle they love

I am a full time student who wants to achieve her best academic performance (yet) while preserving somewhat of a work-life balance.

I am also a procrastinator which does get in the way quite often, that’s the reason why I created this blog: to track my progress, improve myself and hold myself accountable

here to fall in love with the feeling of working hard

MAIN GOAL: build discipline

  • I love reading, walking my dog and lifting weights🏋️‍♀️
  • my fav courses are biology and lit.
  • artists I love: the cranberries, jeff buckley, lana del rey

Thank you for reading, ily have a nice day🎀

discipline 101: being uncomfortable most of the time.

do something hard.

challenge that ugly feeling of avoidance.

do something that makes you want to quit immediately, not because you HAVE to, but to celebrate the fact that you CAN.

sticking to a diet 🥗

note to self: come back here when demotivated.

- this diet is balanced and studied to make me healthy again.

It was NEVER meant to be EASY.

why do I feel so alarmed when things feel difficult? they were MEANT to be.

You don’t wake up mentally tough you BECOME that way through exposure.

EMBRACE THE DISCOMFORT

My health is truly getting better and I’m not giving it up ever.

losing my phone at the airport.

I’m going to tell you this story because I think it’s the nightmare of many people (it was mine too)

I took a flight back home from the seaside and once I was sitting in my seat with the plane door closed, I realised that my phone was still at the charging station, at the gate.

I panicked, the plane was taking off and there was no way I could go get it.

as soon as I landed I called the airport help line, a worker checked the charging station but nothing was there.

At that point I was desperate because my phone was not ringing, I was fearing that it had been switched off, on top of that the airport workers did not see it anywhere.

only a few minutes later I received a text message on my mom’s phone from the kindest soul ever. This passenger had found my phone and taken it with him.

he wanted to mail the phone back to me, a similar thing had happened to him too in the past and he didn’t want somebody else to lose their belongings.

He got in contact with some of my family members and eventually reached my mom’s phone. After speaking with him on the phone we found out we could go pick my phone up since the distance was reasonable.

that’s the story of how I got my phone back thanks to the kindness of a person that actively decided to help a random stranger.

I’m forever grateful for that!
