I'm finishing up decorating the last house for my new hood (literally the only proper house so far) and just ugh, sims 2 constantly reminds me why I love decorating. The game surely has its limitations, like the fact I can only rotate objects by certain degree but it has such a cozy, smooth feel to it and the community is so active in converting it's like I have sims 4 back but in a game that actually has a soul. I still love sims 3 so much but sims 2 is like a warm hug from a friend and I really missed it.

so which one of you gamers were gonna tell me these omsp don't disappear in live mode? 🤣 now I have some extra work to do

all the sims 2 houses for my new hood are done for a solid week now but somehow I struggle with making sims? like I genuinely can't remember the feeling of figuring out my style in other sims games, like at what point I'm supposed to say I'm satisfied with these sims and just start playing 😭

Compromised Accounts on SFS

At least two creator accounts on SimFileShare are compromised (SimAndy, TheNinthWaveSim). Downloads may include executable .bat and .exe files (which obviously CC should not!!). For now, consider not downloading from SFS.

As far as I can tell mine is fine. The last upload I made to SFS was Apr 2 and I have not updated any files since then - if I do, I’ll post about that here. If you see anything updated since then on my files let me know. All my downloads are also mirrored on MF!

My April Fool Boots are my last upload that's linked anywhere public. Nothing else of mine should have an upload dated later than March 2025. I did a quick check and didn't see anything suspicious, but I'm in the middle of moving apartments and I don't have time to check everything over.

So that's why downloading my own stuff to import to simblr.cc was making my browser scream for malware...

(no, there was nothing wrong inside the zips, I checked them, no worries)

I was having the same issue as deniisu!

I also checked before uploading to simblr.cc and the only thing inside the .zip files were .package files. I have deleted the posts on simblr.cc to be extra safe (only .zip files were being flagged for me, Oaken Oddities and Vinyl Art), but the one .zip file I still have (I tend to delete stuff right away) shows the .package files in the .zip haven't been updated since july of 2024, so I'm assuming SFS has been flagged as a whole. SFS is down for me so I can't check if anything is weird there.

Honestly I think it's quite crazy I suddenly feel the urge to play sims 3 after decorating my hood and houses in sims 2 for the last few weeks, like I miss my baby Sage rn 😂

Nooo I'm not a builder at all (this is something I could probably work on). I can only do slight alternations to it, add landscaping and completely renovate it inside but for the life of me I can't make myself to make my own shells. Both of the lots I showed so far are from plumbtales but I also have some from kestrelteens and bluerubberbear in my game. Still looking for more to have some variety so if you have any recommendations I'd appreciate!

Actually so so many! I feel like every new world I play in ends up being a new favorite 🤣 like I'm not picky at all. There's this blog (not updated since years) that I still use to find new neighborhoods but some of my favorites from recent years definitely include oakwood, mesa grande, strawberry acres, meadow glen, hylewood and strangetown.

The trailers are finally done! The next lot I'm furnishing is this apartment building turned regular residential for a pair of scientists? doctors? I'm not entirely sure yet
