I think short songs work best when they are very quick or quick-sounding, hype and like explotions of serotonin. But with slower, more "aesthetic" kind of songs like these ones, the short lenght just doesn't allow them to fully sink it and be enjoyed. for me, at least

le sserafim's album is soooooo good but the songs are so short i don't quite end up enjoying them

#sometimes making songs so short actually makes them worse#they feel incomplete and you want to just listen to them again#and i know that's how it works it makes it more streamable it's all a ploy for money or whatever#but listening to the same unsatisfactory song too much just makes it boring very quickly#like there's no space to actually enjoy it. the song is just one sound and not one song#so it's just repetitive ykwim#i feel like it's suchh a shame because the concept and the aesthetics and the actual sound are all soooooo good and so my taste#but i dont find it that much enjoyable to listen to#t
