ending for today but initial thoughts:

battles are painful. i think if you say something mean to the mopper once the only way you can spare it is by beating it up? which is not great design. and the pencil enemy is so uninteresting it hurts
the humor is on point. it really does feel like i'm playing an utydr game, it's got more smiles out of me already than all of dark ruins through early dunes did my first uty playthrough
there are some pretty good sprites i must say
i can't play with both z+enter binded. sad day for one hand in chip bag players
puzzles are either ridiculously easy or hard. i have a super good memory for games like these but can't imagine how the matching puzzle would go for someone who doesn't
kanako. uh. don't like what they're doing with her! she is so incredibly basic! susie and ralsei and noelle are overflowing with personality and kanakos like. Friend. Reacts to things normally, tough sometimes scared others. I was gonna list off more of her basic personality traits but i literally can't think of any that's how basic she is. i hope she gets more interesting later
