Zaun Jayce and Piltie Vik
Viks parents were respected high fashion tailors, he was from a comfortable family but not very rich, and has an accent since they are immigrants. hes a little near sighted, when he was a kid he stayed in the library for too long and read in his room at midnight even though his guardians told him to rest earlier. When vik went to the academy, he experienced academic plagiarism from one of his mentors...
Jayce's family was banished from Piltover, they still make hammers in Zaun.

I love everything about this design!
It matches the aesthetic of the show super well with the belts and golden gears and stripes.
It matches Viktor's character design with the colours of the shirt being the maroons and greys of his academy uniform, and the overall silhouette being similar.
It matches zaun specifically by having the outfit clearly be handsewn or customised from old clothes, with visible repairs. As well as gender non-conforming presentation with the half-skirt and the longer hair framing his face, shown to be more accepted in Zaun.
It also tells a story about Viktor specifically in this AU, like how his open shirt suggests confidence in his appearance, but the way the half skirt covers his bad leg suggests insecurity.

Yes thank you for your analysis!!! I drew this because one of the major theme for og viktor in the show is that he had to blend in with the social norm of Piltover as an outsider, but his Zaun root was gradually showing on him, during the whole season 1 his blending in facade is slowly tumbling down because of his failing health and the gradual influence of hex core, and you can see that in the og show, Victor’s design contrasting with Jayce, during the whole season you can see more and more color of white in Jayce’s outfit and more gray, black in Viktor, that’s the color of Zaun is gradually showing on him…and yes I think gender fluidity is more acceptable in Zaun. Zaun is gothic, you can see that mentioned in one of the behind the scenes documentary of season 1.
My headcanon for this is:
Vik got involved with some local mafia business and has a connection with Silco so I picked this palette based on that. In my brainrot if Vik doesn’t need to blend in the social norms of Piltover, he will have a gothic sense of style, highlighting the prettiest part of his body.
When he was 25, he was a lithe little thing flaunting his cute face and small little waist, wearing eyeliners, since makeup is more common in Zaunite men. He was using a half skirt covering up his bad leg. But later his health is failing and he’s covering his skin more and more.
It’s so nice to see people like this version of my AU! I will draw more of him and Jayce interacting, it will be fun to make some comparisons with the dynamics in canon.
