One could say that they were jet set, Bonnie and Clyde even.

I decided to make it like a poster because i used text for the writing on Bonnie's police tape and had it off to the side whilst i did other things and liked the idea of it. I didn't do the text on Clyde's because it would've just gotten covered by her arm.

I think the funniest thing about this map would be that they replaced Bonnie's original wig from the classic with the wig of the other blonde backup. I also changed her face like five different times and still not sure if i like how it turned out 😅

Love that they are straight up named after Bonnie and Clyde, really fits the theming well of the classic and alt well 😂

Also back to how i regularly draw instead of the 9 animal crossing style ones i did felt a bit more natural but i'll probably do more like that in the future 😊

In literally any other sci-fi story, a body-snatching slug taking over someone's body would produce angst of "I've been controlled against my will" and "something has replaced my friend" and all that jazz

But in A Starstruck Odyssey, the angst is about the slug being a prince who's been pressured to fulfill a grand destiny that he wants no part in, and finding a new family when he takes over the body of their shitty captain

And I think that's just damn beautiful
