I must ask, even if its been answered before, were you self taught or had you gone through schooling? I've been thinking of asking an artist i respect and enjoy seeing work from if they have any advice in getting into digital art and drawing in general. I ask here as it might also help others who would see the answer. If you are unable to answer then do not worry, i understand you are busy with comics. I have asked others, however i gain more insight through different perspectives. This has been an ask from Likewise, i do not expect a response but would appreciate one none the less.

I started digital about..oh god I feel old, when I was 13, I used to scan my doodles done traditionally and then I'd do the lineart and colors digitally , I think you can start this way to get used to the program and how digital art works in general c:
Before I had a tablet I used to draw with a mouse, if you're just starting and you don't own a tablet, paint tool sai is a program that has the tools for mouse users. I've also seen people do crazy things on a PHONE. Technology really has come a long way haha
That being said, I'm salt taught n-n/ I started out with a very old program, then Paint Tool SAI, and now I use clip studio paint EX.
Some free alternatives that you can use could be Krita, Ibis Paint(i never used it myself so idk how it is), and Fire Alpaca.
I don't recall if you've ever talked about it, so forgive me if you have, but would you ever consider setting up a Patreon or somesuch? Even if it's just "here's a place you can send Hawk a few bucks if you want" with no other perks, I for one would be more than happy to subscribe. You're a good artist and a good bean, Hawk. ☺️

IT'S STILL THERE, and right now it's a steady source of income which is allowing me to fund Incipere (though rn it's been put on hold, to prioritize my 70-page something one shot <3)

I'm gonna be honest. The issue is that you have no market. Tumblr ain't the same, and considering you ain't really part of a fandom right now, you are practically invisible. Everyone here is either a from your comic or b and most likely sticking around from your undertale days and considering you ain't adding fuel and probably ain't gaining much more fans you are gonna be mostly losing customers. Now I ain't sure how your financial situation is, but if you need commissions you are going to need to branch out and put yourself out there. I personally recommend starting another fan comic since joining a fandom is a great way to get out there, and a good comic can keep viewers hooked for a while as you know. Granted, another comic is a lot of work if you wanna add a plot, so instead, you can also do just art pieces, which can be done easier than a comic. But what fandom you may be asking, I know you probably are opposed to it but I personally would try the undertale fandom simply because your status as the creator of ADC and your collaboration with AFAC can probably be used for brand recognition or make you seem more authentic if that's the right word. Though to be fair, you can do other fandoms probably just as well. Also, you need to find your audience and who is liking your art for what reason. Do they want dark and gritty fights or do they want cozy scenes of characters cuddling. Find what gets more views and likes and capitalize on it to hopefully grow the audience more.
Though granted, I'm just some random highschooler rattling off things I remember from my marketing class so take it with salt.
No, I know I have no market and sadly OC content is just hard to promote. Ideally I'd love for my original stuff to be more recognized but it's just hard. I'm done with Undertale, I don't have the passion for it anymore and I have no desire to do content for it. Period.
I don't know if I have the passion to even be part of a fandom other than Warframe (maybe I could make short Warframe fancomics? I guess that's an option.

Not sure which would be which, but I feel like one of them is a terrible singer that sings all the time, and the other is a great singer that hardly, if ever, lets people hear them sing.
I feel like they'd both be decent singers! Not the greatest but the talent is there.
That being said, Odix would sing in the shower.
Aki's voice would be like Japanese singer Aimer (just not well trained)
