i feel like this is a story tumblr would appreciate and i am so sorry in advance.

one time i hopped into my mom's car because she was helping me get to a dr's. appointment and im not even settled into the car when my mom goes "hey what does BBC mean?" and there's a solid second where my entire life flashes before my eyes and i have to think of a good enough lie that i eventually say "uh... isn't that like, a cooking show? British baking challenge or something?"

and for a moment, i MIGHT be in the clear until my brother, who is in the front passenger seat, goes 'don't lie to her!" while laughing his ass off because he saw my look of utter terror in the rear view mirror and also we're both adults so he figured i'd been on the internet long enough to know what it actually meant (which i did but i wasn't going to be the one to inform our mother of this information)

anyways i then indignantly asked why was i being asked this odd question to which it was explained to me that they'd seen a man on a corner with a sign that said something along the lines of 'bbc for $20' and my brother actually explained what it meant to our mom but she then wanted to see which of her children would tell her the truth and which would lie to her and on the one hand- fair? On the other hand, i wasn't trying to relive our hentai explanation again so ofc i was going to lie.
