y'all i've been reading film/media studies scholarship on stranger things lately (researching, but the wrong thing: procrastination level one million), and i gotta say... our analyses, at least of the characters' various motivations and relationships, is better, like... at least half the time. tbf most of it was published pre-season 4, but still. need a byler to write & publish an absolute banger after season 5 drops
